About Dr. Mary Lenz

Midwest Dental is introducing Dr. Mary Lenz to the Twin Lakes community. Dr. Lenz joined Dr. Michael Kaske and the Midwest Dental team located at 330 E. Main St. in July 2017.
Originally from Waterford, less than 15 miles northwest of Twin Lakes, Dr. Lenz is proud to call southern Wisconsin her home. Growing up with a travel agent grandmother meant she was able to travel frequently and see many parts of the world. However, coming home to Wisconsin Dr. Lenz always felt like she is right where she belongs.
Dr. Lenz attended Marquette University where she was accepted into a three year undergraduate program in which she was able to immediately get into the dental program following. “I knew I wanted to be a dentist when I was in high school,” she said. “I had braces three times and after seeing what an impact having a beautiful smile can make on a person, I knew that I wanted to help people achieve that same feeling.”
Dr. Lenz’s love for helping people through dentistry goes above and beyond normal expectations. She enjoys dental service work whether it’s working with organizations like Give Kids a Smile through the American Dental Association or Mission of Mercy, a nonprofit that provides free healthcare for people in need. As a dentist, Dr. Lenz sees the value in giving back to those in need with her unique skills. She has even traveled to Jamaica on dental mission trips, in which she provided volunteer dental work to people of all ages. “I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to help people whom truly needed it. The experiences I have had are invaluable,” Dr. Lenz said.
When she had the opportunity to do what she loves so close to home with Midwest Dental, it seemed like a dream come true. Dr. Lenz is settling into the Twin Lakes office and getting to know her patients. Building those relationships is one of her favorite parts of being a dentist. “I love interacting and hearing stories from the patients I work with”, Dr. Lenz said. “Having personal relationships that help them feel comfortable with me is very important.”
