I had a traveling hygienist, Amelia, she was amazing! Definitely deserves a raise and hopefully continues to push this industry forward to a higher standard. I also have enjoyed getting together with Angie at the front desk for each appointment! Can't say every time has been great but Amelia and Angie both do excellent work!

I had an excellent experience at Midwest Dental, St. Louis Park. Scheduling the appointment was quick and efficient. I was able to get in the next week. The lady at the front desk is friendly and professional. Mary Anne (or Mariam), the dental hygienist was detailed, thorough, professional and very nice. Similarly, Dr. Truong was prompt, professional, and efficient. I'm glad I didn't have any delays while everyone was thorough. Great experience. I highly recommend this dental office.

Excellent service all around from the team @ the SLP location. Angi (the receptionist/scheduler) is incredibly organized, friendly, and always goes the extra step with insurance to know what's covered and what isn't when asked of it. Dr. Vy is well spoken, intelligent, relatable and friendly. She is for sure my favorite dentist I've ever had. All the dental hygienists are equally knowledgeable, friendly, timely, and professional. I cannot speak highly enough of the awesome team at Midwest Dental Saint Louis Park and am a happy customer.

The problem was spotted early and, on a subsequent appointment was remedied in the predicted time — AND — a new tray (including a new cast impression) was fabricated that same day when I showed the staff my years-old tray, Two problems resolved on the same day and without delay — I was pleased.

On 8/1/23, I called Midwest Dental in St.Louis Park after having toothache and swelling since the weekend. I told them I don't have dental insurance and they gave me a quote for consultation and needed x-rays. I was accommodated a little over an hour after I called. Everyone was so nice and professional - the lady at the front desk, the x-ray technician, and the dentist. They listened as I explained the problem. I was given the right interventions. I appreciate that Dr. Truong respected my plan to see my dentist overseas. She gave me a referral for an orthodontist in case I need it prior to my trip overseas. There was no pressure. On top of the great experience I had, I paid way less than what I have anticipated paying. I am beyond grateful and I highly recommend this place.

I was having tooth pain, my dentist had retired and I had new insurance. I spent a day trying to find a new dentist and I landed at Midwest Dental, right in my neighborhood! Angie at the front desk is great and got me in quickly, Dr. Truong is kind and made me feel like everything would be ok. The assistants made me feel at home. So Dr. Truong is my new dentist. We agreed on a care plan and we start next week. I'm so glad I found this office- not a big chain or "get 'em in, get 'em out" business. Real human beings who are there to take care of you and are ready to help you figure out how to get the dental care you need.

Rachel was amazing. She didn't make me feel bad about the time in-between visits, or the care that needs to happen going forward. She was a great conversationalist and made me feel very comfortable. As a person who hates going to the dentist (as I feel most do!) I will happily do my best to support all my friends to come to the dentist and recommend MWD.

Just went back for a routine teeth cleaning and they had a new dentist (Dr. Le). He spotted a tiny cavity and a filling that needed repair in no time. He looked at the previous x-rays and they showed up on there too so the previous dentist just missed these issues outright (the previous dentist at Midwest Dental). He took a mirror so I could see the issues myself. He was very professional about it and I was extremely impressed. We had everything fixed the next day and I'm good to go. Update: Went back for a teeth cleaning. Dr. Le suggested I have some work done, one of which was getting an old filling replaced. While replacing the filling, he found that they drilled to the nerve previously and the nerve was black and dead. Ended up needing a root canal and very thankful he found it before it caused some serious issues! He was showing the hygienist how it was black and was "like cleaning out an old kitchen sink drain." Ha! Big relief! Like a good mechanic, he shows you what he's seeing, gives you your options, and lets you decide what to do. A good dentist is hard to come by and Dr. Le rocks! Won't be going anywhere else unless Dr. Le leaves!

Dr Le is fantastic! I have stuck with this dentist office even though there seems to be a revolving door of dentists in there for the past 3 or 4 years (location is just too convenient). Since he came aboard it has been a change and how I've been treated. He actually has had conversations with me about a dental care plan. It isn't simply go in and he'll fill a cavity or they'll just clean your teeth like you're on an assembly line.. They let you know what they recommend and how to take care of problems before they get bigger. I recently had some old fillings replaced. It went exactly as he said it would and with no complications. The techs that do the teeth cleaning are outstanding. I highly recommend this place.

I had two recent great experiences. First was regular checkup with xrays and the appointment was on time and the hygienist was efficient and informative during the appointment. She explained what she was doing and at the end had a couple of recommendations for me. Well within the time I had set aside. The second appointment was to replace two fillings and again the appointment started on time, the work on replacing the fillings was challenging given their age yet all work was done expertly. I would have no doubts in recommending Midwest Dental and their staff to friends and work colleagues.

$89 new patient special. Included exams, X-Rays, a cleaning and an electric tooth brush. The staff was very professional and friendly. They also open early enough where I didn’t have to take PTO for an appointment. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist in the area.

I am rather particular with dentists and after finding an awesome dentist that I loved going to, I had made a career change and started work with a new Employer. Unfortunately my dentist was not within the dental network. I had an urgent dental need and had to find a new dentist. I came across St. Louis Park Metro Dental and after reading the reviews, seeing how close it was to my home, I decided to go ahead and make an appointment. I was rather apprehensive at first but after a couple of minutes speaking with the receptionist, I felt much more at ease. Once I was actually in the chair with jaw wide open and having the work done (Root Canal), I was so comfortable and relaxed that I almost fell asleep......twice! I was only given Novocain, and cannot express how gentle and caring they were while doing the work. Once the Novocain wore off, and my mouth returned to normal, it was as if I never had an issue at all. I cannot thank them enough for getting me in as soon as the did and for the fantastic work they did. I have definitely found my new dentist and will absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs a dentist!

I went for my first appointment the other day and was very impressed. The employees were friendly. My gumline is a puffy inflamed disaster, and sensitive. The woman working on my teeth was kind enough to use a numbing gel before cleaning. This place is great!

Dr. Holly Hill is the best dentist I have every visited! Every time I go there the staff is very friendly and courteous. I never write reviews, but I felt like I had to after my experience with this clinic. Like most people, I don't like going to the dentists. However the staff is so nice, and the hygienist and Dr. Hill were so gentle! It is a care free experience. Guarantee once you go one time, you will keep coming back! They are that good! Show less

I went for a routine dental cleaning. This place was great! The front staff were friendly, the bathrooms were clean, the wait to get in was short, the dental cleaning was the most thorough I have ever had, the dentist (Dr. McKinley) was personable. I felt very comfortable and will be back for sure!

I had a cleaning earlier this week (after not going to the dentist for a few years) and Jodi was fantastic. Both Jodi and Dr. McKinley were great at explaining what was happening and asking if I had any questions throughout. I was able to be scheduled for one of those coveted early morning appointments two days later for two fillings and Jennifer and Dr. McKinley were excellent - minimal pain, they made sure I was at ease, and they were just in great spirits which is really refreshing.

I had a good experience yesterday at Midwest Dental. Had a small cavity that needed to be filled. The good doctor said he thought it could be done without any numbing and he was right. So I was able to go about my business for the rest of the day without waiting for the novacain to wear off.

Even after I moved across town, I keep coming here because my experience is wonderful every time! They always run on time, are very kind and thorough, and take a lot of care in keeping me informed every step of the way. They take the time to answer my questions and give me a clear sense of the health of my teeth. I also appreciate the way I get text and email appointment reminders -- so convenient! Highly recommend!!
