Just had a tooth extraction less than an hour ago, still numb with a mouth full of gauze and felt the need to write this review asap to make sure I didn’t forget to! Can’t praise Dr. Spurgeon highly enough! He did an amazing job and had me in and out in what I feel had to have been 20 minutes or so! No pain whatsoever and it ended up being just an extraction, no drill, no surgery which is amazing cause there was literally almost no tooth left to work with! Also want to say that Amy at the front desk is amazing! She makes sure to get you set up with what you need and several times now has worked to get me fit in on short notice! She also answers any questions you have and is very knowledgeable about the insurance part of it all and makes sure you know what you’re getting yourself into and what your options are! I didn’t catch the dental assistants name but she was wonderful throughout the whole process, pleasant to talk to and reassuring afa the process and making sure you’re comfortable and taken care of throughout, wish I would’ve caught her name so I could have dropped it in this review but I will say she was great and their staff as a whole are all great as well! I’ve never been a fan of going to the dentist, as most people aren’t, but I will say when you have a team like this it makes the whole experience a more pleasant one and it’s a lot easier to go in knowing you’re in good hands! Thanks again!

I absolutely love Dr. Spurgeon's dental practice. Everyone in the office is personable and friendly. My recent visit was for my 6 month cleaning and exam. I get a build up of tenacious tartar even though I brush and floss daily. I also detest the use of the ultrasonic device that works best at removing tartar as my teeth are very sensitive to the high frequency vibrations and cold water. I told the hygienist my fears but that she could use it if she felt it was necessary. She said she could turn the device down and I think she added warm water to the tank. I never knew they could do this. What a game changer! It was the first time I didn't white knuckle the experience and my teeth feel so clean! A big thank you to Brittany, my hygienist, for listening to me.

I will absolutely use Midwest Dental for future dental needs.

I searched for a dentist that has a great reputation, staff that are knowledgeable, budget-friendly, convenient scheduling and location. From the first day I felt welcomed, answering any questions I might have. As my dental exam proceeded, the Dr. gave me my options, and we put a plan in place, everyone in the office worked together as a team. The office is extremely clean, necessary precautions are in place with Covid 19. I would definitely recommend Midwest Dental for your dental needs!

My first appointment with Dr. Spurgeon yesterday was a positive experience. Amy at the front desk, was friendly and knowledgable. I knew I would be needing a lot of work and after a thorough examination, Dr. Spurgeon spent time explaining what I would need done and answering all my questions. A treatment plan was printed out for me and Amy explained what my insurance would cover and what would be out of pocket for each of my future appointments. The treatment plan is great — I will know what to expect at each visit! I’m glad my daughter referred me to this friendly group!
