I can’t say enough great things about the staff at Midwest Dental. Dr. Shawn May is a very experienced and phenomenal dentist. I’ve truly never had a bad experience with him. I’m someone who dreads fillings, but not with Dr. May - he is quick, efficient, and professional.
This dentist office is very welcoming. We have referred friends who like it also. My hygienist is super friendly. Each open room has nice decorations. The dentist is respectful of cost and doesn't try to push services.
Very good people care alot for you as a patient and as a person. Normally don't like going to a dentist but would highly recommend this place. Again great bunch of people from receptionist Dr's assistant teeth cleaning and Dr himself. All tr y to keep it pain free as possible. Do not hesitate to go to Midwest dental will not be disappointed.
I had an issue with a crown and the office got me in the same day! Dr May and Kassandra were fantastic. So happy I found this office.
I want to start off by saying today was my first time here. The staff was pleasant excellent. Receptionist never smiled and seemed irritable. Dr Jerry… is absolutely amazing doctor! He is patient and kind. He made me feel very comfortable through my fear of the dentist.
Technicians very pleasant. Very through and Dr Jerry explained everything. Office was very welcoming and clean.
Switched to Midwest Dental because of a change in insurance. Professional and friendly staff and works with my schedule to get me in. Excellent screening and hygiene appointments.
My daughter was complaining of mouth pain and they were able to get her in and treated right away. The Dr was very kind, made her feel comfortable and explained everything in terms she could understand. I highly recommend this clinic!
My first visit today with Dr Jerry was fantastic. Who’s not afraid to go to the dentist, I sure am. I’ve had a lot of dental work over the years and this office and doctor are the best. Every single person I came in contact with was amazing. I felt that they cared about me, my needs, my comfort and my finances. Everyone has to go to the dentist at some point, if you’re looking, give them a try.
Was in the chair for 2.5 hours for a replacement crown. They did a great job! looking forward to getting my permanent crown in two weeks!

Kassandra did an amazing job fixing my crown because of my habit and grinding my teeth, and once she fixed it, it felt better than it was before. I can tell when she was fixing my crown, she knew what she was doing, and has lots of experience in the dental field.
Midwest receptionist was very kind and I had a fantastic dental assistant breonna. Once I met Dr May I immediately connected & felt comfortable. He made my molar extraction go with ease and was very impressed with him so my anxieties depleted quickly! Thank you to all the Midwest dental staff.
Carla is an excellent hygienist & Bridget was able to get me in sooner & Alayna was helpful In rescheduling! Very very good experience! On 8/4 I went in for a crown rebuild & Dr May is Very very good! His assistant, Rachel was awesome as well! The front desk girl, Koda was Great as well! Love them all!
I went to Midwest dental on Friday August 3rd 2023 to have a tooth extracted as soon as I met the doctor I knew I felt absolutely no pain when he pulled my tooth and he was always asking me how I'm doing making sure I was in no pain I highly recommend Midwest dental
My 4-year-old son had his very 1st positive dental visit this week. He has autism. It's usually difficult to find professionals who have experience with patients with special needs. He had a comfortable visit with very little stress. Dr. Jerry was fantastic!! Kassandra was patient. TY
The office staff was pleasant. The dental hygienist was friendly and efficient. I didn't have to wait very long at all. The office atmosphere was professional and friendly.
1st extraction and it was better than expected everyone kept me very comfortable.
I have to hand it to Midwest Dental they are very professional and passionate. They will get you in and out in a timely manner and they care how you feel while undergoing treatment. 5/5 best dental experience for me. I recommend them if you’ve had bad experiences in the past!

Took my son in for a checkup. Saw Dr Delfs who said my son had an infection. Instead of doing anything about it she referred him to pediatric dentistry and said he should be seen there for all his care including check ups. Which would be fine but peds dentist has a 2 month waiting list. Am I just supposed to let this infection sit for 2 months because a family dentistry place can't take care of a dental infection?. Will not go back as long as she works there. Prior dentists they had were great. She is horrible. Update. They finally got rid of her, and we had a great experience afterward.
Great dentist office. Every time I have to go in they have me in and out in less then an hour. Everyone is very friendly as well.
This dentist and the staff are awesome. Very thoughtful, caring and kind in the treatment you receive. They are honest and help you get the treatment you need with out any extra cost and are best dentists office I have ever been in.

I had a great experience! I was made to believe for years that my wisdom teeth had to be surgically extracted. I went to Midwest Dental yesterday for pain in my mouth and he took it out right then and there! I was so relieved I may or may not have shed a few tears :) I have an appointment to have my other one removed next week. He was kind, he consistently asked if I was in pain and if I was okay. The ladies assisting him were fantastic as well! I look forward to going back and I appreciate that he did not just tell me he couldn't help me like my previous dentist had done. Friendly, welcoming, helpful, and gets the job done! Thank you Midwest Dental!
My hygienist was Becky and she was awesome! I briefly met Dr. Ibrahim and he seems knowledgeable and we put together a cleaning schedule. The lobby and office were clean and I was welcomed promptly. I can’t speak on billing yet since I just had my visit on 4/4/2022. I hope all goes well with that. At this time I am very happy with Midwest Dental.

Excellent service with Dr. Shah. He is the best dentist I ever had. 2 crowns. Meticulous with his work and details for excellence. Very friendly and personal. Making sure you are pain free. The assistants were excellent as well. So happy he is in Pekin.
I have been coming here for as long as they have had the office in Pekin Il. The same for my wife. We love our Sara who cleans our teeth. A sweetheart and does a great job and is constantly checking with you that you are o.k. The dentist i was seeing here had to quit for medical reasons and they had 2 floater dentists in. The gentleman that took care of my canine with a big cavity on the tip was efficient and the procedure painless. Never a problem with the company as far as working with Delta Dental, my insurance company. I would highly recommend this office to anyone in need of dental care. Both previous dentists i have had there as caregivers were great dentists . I had cavities filled and crowns. They showed me everything on the computer screen before the work so i knew they were not doing shady drill for money work like a dentist i had when i lived in another city, that was not affiliated with any company. Since I will not get the same dentist as the last time I was in, I cannot rate a specific dentist for you but the company and the care I have received in the past is exceptional.. Wgm
If you are in need of amazing staff and dentist look no farther. Carla was my hygentist and has the most caring and compassion for her job and work. I am a person who can literally say I HATE going to the dentist but Let me tell you. I had my second deep cleaning with her yesterday and yes literaly was laughing during the procesure. Dr. Abraham is the best dentist hands down when it comes to care and compassion and reassurance that you will be in good hands. Looking for a new Dentist I definetly would recommend Midwest Dental in Pekin.
Very friendly staff that make you feel at ease. No long waits and great communication. Dentist I had was very friendly and did a wonderful job. The dental hygienists I had were both wonderful. One was really friendly and amazing for my first time in awhile since going so I was nervous. She immediately put me at ease. The second one was great too. They have such a good flow there. I have zero complaints.
Dr. Connolly is the best! I had a fair amount of anxiety going in, and he completely set my mind at ease. He is super friendly and has a very calming demeanor...very kind, patient and compassionate. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Connolly has taken some of the fear out of a dental visit-- for that I am really appreciative! He takes the time to explain what and how it's going to be done. I've got such a sensitive mouth. It's nice having someone so honest and personable... And educational.

All of our family visits Midwest Dental. We have for years. Our Sons basically have been going there since they have been in school. The Staff is so kind, caring, and very professional. The office is clean. We've had no problems making appointments. They explain all the procedures very thoroughly, and even make the experiences there for smaller children as much as possible. I remember they gave my Son a pair of sunglasses to wear one time because he thought the lights were to bright in his eyes when he was laying back in the chair getting his teeth cleaned. I would certainly recommend them without a doubt, and have to co workers of mine. They like going here as well.

My first visit was excellent. My follow up visit with Dr. Connelley for 5 cavities was excellent, too!! Was out of there way ahead of schedule and perfect work.
Due to a physical illness, my teeth are "dying," and need extracted and dentures put in. All the staff treated me with passion, and Dr. Connelly spent a long time explaining why it is imperative to get it done now, and how dentures will change my life. I left with a summary of expenses and a better understanding of why this happened when I had taken care of my teeth.
I'm new to this office but we had excellent service. They were great with my 4 year old and myself. I scheduled many appointments in the future to further our business with them.
Dr. Connolly is awesome! At my last cleaning, he noticed that I needed a filling and recommended it be taken care of before it was painful. Thank you!
We have been going here for years. Sarah and Carla are both great hygienists. On my last visit, Dr. Connolly found a tooth that should be extracted. I had a million questions and he took a lot of extra time to answer and discuss options in detail. He did this more than one time. The team at Midwest were very helpful.
I have gone here for years (many years with Dr Burge) Everyone is very professional and very friendly. I haven’t needed anything other than cleaning for a long time. I have continued to come here because of Sarah, she is the best!
Have been going here for many years (when Dr. Burge was still practicing). Have always had a very pleasant experience. Sarah always takes good care of me, and the dental assistants are the best. Dr. Lentz is a new addition to the staff, and he is wonderful! He explained everything he was doing, and made sure I was comfortable at all times. I would definitely recommend this practice to everyone.
I hadn't been to the dentist in 20 years. They took care of me. Walked me through each step. They cleaned my teeth. Just had 2 fillings done in about 20 minutes. Very attentive to detail in their work and taking care of their patients. I also really like their email and text reminders for my appointments. I highly recommend them!

I was there yesterday and I had to get 2 teeth pulled. Dr. Lucy is AWESOME and so is her crew. They are always so friendly and they like to joke around which is right up my alley. I will never change dentist. Love Midwest Dental!!!
I've been going here for several years, first with Dr. Burge, and since he has retired I've seen Dr. Opris. Everyone there is awesome, I highly recommend them.
