I needed a filling and it has been at least 20 years since my last filling. I was very apprehensive about the level of pain that would be involved. But I need not have worried, they were great and put me at ease from the very beginning, there was no pain involved, even the injection of anesthesia was pain free. It was a really great experience.

Besides the huge lack of cleanliness, every single time I have gone in to get my teeth worked on it’s always a new different dentist! Due to excessive times of being uncomfortable I decided to leave. The final push was when I was getting my teeth cleaned and I had the pleasure of being front & center when one of the dentists got upset and started to yell/curse at the innocent assistant. Very unprofessional. Go elsewhere

WOW!!! I saw Dr. McBride to have a tooth pulled and a small piece got left behind. Absolutely understandable!!! Not only did Dr. McBride get me schedule with the Oral surgeon to get it taken care of immediately, he personally called me the next day to check on how I was doing. He also spoke to the surgeon after my extraction to make sure things went well. My daughter had her very first dentist appt at 2 years old and the staff was AMAZING with her. I am so thankful that I found this office to take care of my family's dental needs. We are now loyal members of the Midwest Dental family.

i love this place. dr mcbride is my dentist. the staff up front is very friendly, not your typical bunch of snotty females. they are welcoming and helpful. their schedule is accommodating and it is never really too difficult to get in for an appointment. dr mcbride is honest and will not try to sell you what you dont need. i am terrified of dentists due to a terrible time that i had in indiana where i got drilled without enough novocaine. i used to go somewhere in Illinois, and after he retired, i wouldnt go to the dentist anymore. dr mcbride makes me feel comfortable and i will return as long as i live in the area!

I’ve had ongoing dental issues for years. I’ve been to many dentists who I didn’t realize until I met Dr. McBride, what quality dental appts should be like. Dr. McBride puts you totally at ease. He explains everything in detail and there are no surprises. I’ve had ongoing dental work and I’ve never left there disappointed. I know I’m in the most capable hands. Every time I go, I am more impressed than my last visit. Dr. McBride knows I have major anxiety issues from past dental procedures and he is so patient and kind. His office manager Barb, his assistants, JD and Alisha and his hygienist Mindy are the best in their field! The front desk professionals are efficient, kind and helpful. The office is gorgeous, comfortable and it’s always spotless. You’ll never find a more knowledgeable, compassionate, caring, informed and KIND dentist than Dr. McBride and his staff. We are so lucky to have such a treasure in the Dubuque area. He’s truly a GEM!!!

When I moved to Dubuque from CALIFORNIA in 2009 I was not happy because of my high maintenance teeth and mouth issues I was leaving my Dentist in LA that I loved! Yes I loved my dentist :) She was caring and sensitive to me and my families dental care and hands down the best dentist I had ever had. Needless to say I had to find another dentist after moving here, I and my family bounced around to a few Dentist's and Children's dentist. But then someone mentioned Midwest Dental and told me about Dr. McBride. After my first appointment with Dr. McBride I knew I had found my dentist that I could look forward to seeing and trusting with my dental hygiene issue's. The support staff that works there I think in MHO are very professional and highly trained, and I know from experience having a Mom that was a dental hygienist in the military, we were no strangers to visiting the dentist as kid's. Bottom line I will never ever go to any other Dentist and neither will my family.

These guys are very professional I had to have them make me a partial plate for some upper teeth that I lost a while back they did a great job they fit nicely but let's be real nobody like to have these partial place so I will say for a partial plate they are great they were so dead on they barely even had to make any adjustments they snapped right into place they then went through the whole process of putting them in and taking them out which I caught onto very well with their instructions overall I'm very impressed with this place my workplace is paying for their work but if I ever have to have any dental work done I will definitely travel the extra miles to go here at Midwest Dental they are really worth it

Can you love going to the dentist? If you are normal, no. Lets face it who loves the needle and drilling and so forth but Dr. Mc Bride does his best to make what ever procedure he does as painless and anxiety free as possible. He is knowledgeable, professional and sensitive to the needs of his patients. I know when I visit the dentist he is using the latest technology to solve my dental challenges. I wish I would have found him 4 years ago. If you decide to pick Dr. McBride as your dentist know that you have made an excellent decision.
