After confirming twice the cost of the exam, x-ray, and referral, the final bill was twice as much, to which I couldn't afford, the referral was to the wrong dental surgeon, for 2 teeth not just the wisdom causing the main issue. The dentist was not very understanding as well as being very arrogant. It was a waist of over $200 and the referral and script was thrown away since it left me not only broke but into the negative.

Of course the procedures are a bit different right now but we should all be patient and understand the need for mask and precautions. I am sure they would prefer a speedy check in as well but overall it never takes them long. It is always a good experience and a Clean office. Dr. Sujan was quick and talked me through which helped me stay relaxed The team was very considerate of my comfort and my need to close my mouth or swallow. Great team all around and the receptionist are always very nice as well. I did not have a sitter and they allowed my 4 year old to sit quietly in a chair during my filling.

So i took a half day at work using some vacation time.. To come to Mid West Dental in Derby. They come out to my car with papers to fill out. I was instructed to come to the door when i was done. So i did.. The lady tells me I forgot to sign a paper and i replied i did not and that i was not going to pay $12 for PPE for them to wear as they already bill my insurance for that. So she goes to the office manager to ask what to do and the manager tells her they cant see me..? Ok so you would rather collect $12 than to have a client. Also if you miss an appointment they charge you $20 well i missed 4 hours of work do you compensate that?

Don't ever go to Dr. Mettman! He took out good teeth to put a bridge in that he covered with what looked like plaster. He leaned so hard on one side of my face that he broke my muscles so that I had a groove on one side by my mouth so then he saw that so he broke the other side. I then had severe infections on my hands from that bridge and had to take antibiotics and steroids for a long time. My face is still messed up and he kept saying all of this would go away but didn't. Another dentist took the bridge out, he couldn't believe the terrible job that was done. Also, I had to go to a specialist for a thousand dollars because he jarred my head so bad that I was always dizzy and off balance.

The receptionists there were very rude to my fiance who had been going to this office for 30 plus years. Not only did they hang up on him on the phone, but when he went in there to talk to them in person, 1 person ignored him, and the other person walked away when he was trying to talk to her. We've never been mistreated by the receptionists til now. Customer service and professionalism is highly important in that line of work and we felt like how they acted is very unprofessional and will cause a lot of customers to leave.

Dr. Judd was phenomenal and sadly I can't remember the name of the hygienist at the moment, because she was phenomenal also! They were both nice, gentle, professional, thorough, and pleasant. I would definitely recommend them!

Some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I was late and called to let them know. The receptionist assured me that it was no problem. I was nervous about showing the few teeth I have left. Kim assured me and made me feel no worries. She also explained to me everything the doctor had decided to do and then went on to explain the next steps we would be taking. Totally happy with Midwest Dental because they care and they show it.
