I've been seeing Dr. Olson for over 10 years now. Nobody likes going to the dentist but she always makes it a good experience; always does good work. I definitely recommend her. I understand others billing concerns. Their estimates are generally higher than what it finally comes out to be (it's understandable they won't have every nuance of every insurance plan until the claim gets processed.) If anyone's concerned about the out of pocket bill vs. what insurance will pay for restoration work, just have them submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance company and you'll know exactly how billing will work out ahead of time.

I am so glad we found this dental office when we moved to Eagan in 2008. We had left an awesome dental practice in Atlanta, that we truly loved, and thought we could never find anything remotely similar. Whereas Midwest Dental is smaller and more "quaint," I am impressed by the level of individual attention. The receptionist never has to ask one's name, the hygienists take a personal interest in the people they serve, and the dentists do a very thorough exam (not just a 30 second "everything looks good" type of thing). They are also sensitive about accommodating one's scheduling demands and treat everyone as an important person (not "patient"). Highly recommend!

I see Amy as my hygienist, I love her! She is thorough and has a touch that doesn't make me leap out of her chair. She does the exam of my gums efficiently and without pain! Amy treated me today with deep scaling for periodontal disease and it didn't hurt at all. I can say that I have never been pain free during this procedure before at my previous dental office! I also had to have a large filling removed and started the crown process. This procedure was also pain free. I saw Dr. Cahow. Everyone at the office is friendly, respectful and informative.
