I HATE going to the dentist. BUT after visiting here, i got Dr. Shannon Burns for my appointment. THIS IS THE GREATEST dentist doc i have ever met. Any sign of pain, or any sign of being uncomfortable she immediately stopped, Asked me if i was ok and made sure i didnt feel any pain during my cavity fillings. Because of Dr. Shannon Burns i am no longer in fear or have anxiety about going to the dentist and i will be going regularly to the dentist. TLDR Dr. Shannon Burns is a great dentist, had anxiety for the longest time. I no longer fear the dentist because of this Doc at midwest dental

Kate and Heather up front are so welcoming and recognize me as soon as I walk through the door. Everyone has been respectful and thoughtful surrounding my anxieties. I really feel I've lucked out on this journey. In short - do not go 15 years without seeing a dentist, go to this dental office and they will take very good care of you!

I would highly recommend Midwest Dental (Lena Court location) in Eagan. Natalia is my hygenist and always treats me with thorough but careful care! I recently chipped a tooth (the first 'real' dental issue I've had in years) and the staff at Midwest Dental were able to squeeze me in quickly. I was afraid I would need a crown, even though the chip was very small, but it was in a sensitive place. Dr. Burns gave me options, informed me of the risks and we decided to go the conservative route with a filling. She and her assistant, Traci, were efficient, professional and friendly and got me in and out in less than an hour. Choose Midwest Dental for all your dental care. You won't be disappointed!

We’ve been seeing Dr. Laporte now for a year (after our family dentist retired after 30+ years) and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. She and the team at Midwest Dental in Eagan do a great job!

Dr La Porte and Deb were top notch pro's. Staff very friendly and I freak going to the dentist and have my whole life. Dr J and Deb really made my visit very comfortable and put me at ease. I appreciate it, Highly recommend them. Can't do much better than these guys.
Dental appointment was done in a timely manner. Leslie was friendly and competent cleaning my teeth. Dr. Laparte examined my teeth and answered any questions I had. Also COVID precautions were in place. Appointment could not have gone better.

My first appointment was with Dr. Jane LaPorte and Deb. I felt so comfortable and welcoming despite reading a review about another doctor negatively talking about immigration. Dr. Jane answered all of my questions, provided me with feedback and gave me pediatrician a referral for my 5 yr old with special needs. I went in my first appointment feeling anxious meeting the doctor that made the negative comments about immigration as I’m a immigrant myself. I highly recommend Dr. Jane LaPorte, she is young, professional, open minded, compassionate and accepting. I don’t ever write reviews but I felt the need to express how wonderful Deb and Dr. Jane LaPorte were.
Best, first appointment I've ever had. The front desk staff, dental hygienist, dental assistant, and doc were all such kind people! They were fun and showed me the photos and x-rays as they talked me through everything. Thankful to have found a dental office I will ENJOY visiting.
I've been a patient of Dr. Hatcher for many, many years. He's a perfectionist, which is what you want when your oral health is involved. I'm sorry to read that he is retiring. I'm in my 80's and still have all my own teeth despite exposed roots - thanks to his care. He and Deb are like family to me. I'll miss them both. I would never hesitate to recommend them or any of the staff at Midwest Dental.

Only got a cleaning this time, and both hygienists I've had here have been very thorough. Our family has gone to Dr. Hatcher since 1983, and he's worked wonders with my badly neglected teeth, and has salvaged many of teeth that I thought would be removed... He'll be missed when he retires, but I'm sure the staff at Midwest will continue the care I've gotten used to...

I am not a huge fan of getting my teeth cleaned. (Who is?) I get over any hang-ups based off the professional staff and great office. I had a fantastic cleaning by a hygienist named Natailya. It took her an hour, (I haven't been in two years, don't judge her off the time.) I thought for sure it was going to hurt because I haven't been in forever.... she took her time and my mouth felt great!
We have had very good service with Dr. William Vold and his wonderful staff. Dr. Vold is very pleasant, friendly, quick and does an excellent job. He explains the best options that would work for what you need done. His staff is very pleasant as well, they are good at explaining costs, talking to you about your insurance information and making you feel very welcome. My husband thought Dr. Vold was an excellent dentist when he first met him at another facility. He liked him so well that he refused to go to any other dentist. We searched for 5 years until we found him at Midwest Dental in Eagan.
Dr. Vold is the best. He's been my and my family's dentist for many years. He's down to earth, makes you feel comfortable, and is very gentle, especially if you need a tooth pulled! The staff here is very friendly and welcoming, and the waiting area is nicely decorated, and very clean.
