Good dental clinic! I've been a patient there for about 6 years as of this writing, although I hadn't gone in two years because of Covid concerns. As a result, I got robocalls weekly for what seemed like a year. I mention that because as annoying as it was, I do feel like they look out for my best interests. I think Dr. Olson's a fantastic dentist because she's very knowledgeable and seems very serious about my oral health. Very serious. There seemed to have been a lot of turnover there, which I was concerned about, but as a patient, my experience has been real good each time - as good as a dental visit can be anyway.

Once I finally found a great dentist I didn't care how far away it was from my house in Plymouth So worth the drive! So through and you won't spend an arm and a leg. Previous dentists have wanted to overhaul my older teeth and crowns. Midwest in Eagan do what you need done and not what doesn't. My hygienist is a rock star and my dentist, Dr. Olsen really takes care of my dental issues and concerns. I couldn't recommend them enough. Awesome!

I've been seeing Dr. Olson for over 10 years now. Nobody likes going to the dentist but she always makes it a good experience; always does good work. I definitely recommend her. I understand others billing concerns. Their estimates are generally higher than what it finally comes out to be (it's understandable they won't have every nuance of every insurance plan until the claim gets processed.) If anyone's concerned about the out of pocket bill vs. what insurance will pay for restoration work, just have them submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance company and you'll know exactly how billing will work out ahead of time.

Not a good experience this time, I went there for routine dental check-up(x-rays, bitewings etc.), I did check with them 2-3 times before going to hospital whether they are participating in-network or not for Metlife. Their office staff confirmed that they are in-network for metlife regardless of the Doctor I see so I got the x-rays done there. To my surprise, metlife processed the claim in out of network mode and charged me.Metlife customer support strongly saying they are not in-network, you guys should have told me these things when I called for appointment.

I had a filling done about a year ago. It never felt right so I went in to get it redone by another dentist. He had to redo the simple filling 3 times! After an hour of laying there my anesthetic was wearing off and I told him I was in pain. He did not give me anymore lidocaine, just told me "the lidocane is wearing off because of how many times i had to redo it". At the end, he told me it was finally right and rushed me out of the office because it was the end of the day and he had a chiropractor appointment to get to. He didn't even ask me if it felt right or if i thought it needed to be adjusted. Nonetheless, I won't be going back.

Can be a bit aggressive in treatment and recommending pricey procedures. I chose this dental clinic after doing some research and reading reviews here on Google. I should have taken my experience making an appointment as an omen. The lady on the phone was nice and courteous, but due to her not really understanding basic things I was saying to her (I work in the healthcare field myself, so I know the lingo and was trying to communicate that way, but nope), it took about 20 minutes to schedule a simply intake appointment. When I arrived for the appointment, again, the staff was friendly and courteous, and the office is clean, tidy, and welcoming. The exam was not overly gentle, and that was after the hygienist had to wait for the tools to do it. As a result, it took almost an hour for a basic exam and by that time I didn't have enough time for them to do the cleaning. On top of that, they recommended a couple fairly pricey procedures. I got a second opinion from my old dentist (who works in Roseville, and I will be staying with her going forward, worth the drive) and she said it wasn't necessary at this point.

I had a lot of stains and plaque build up from the braces and they were able to get everything off, without using those awful drills that I hate so much. When they were done, it looked like my teeth had been professionally whitened. The staff were very friendly and I even received a gift as a new customer. I would highly recommend them.

We had left an awesome dental practice in Atlanta, that we truly loved, and thought we could never find anything remotely similar. Whereas Midwest Dental is smaller and more "quaint," I am impressed by the level of individual attention. The receptionist never has to ask one's name, the hygienists take a personal interest in the people they serve, and the dentists do a very thorough exam (not just a 30 second "everything looks good" type of thing). They are also sensitive about accommodating one's scheduling demands and treat everyone as an important person (not "patient"). Highly recommend!

Good dental clinic! I've been a patient there for about 6 years as of this writing, although I hadn't gone in two years because of Covid concerns. As a result, I got robocalls weekly for what seemed like a year. I mention that because as annoying as it was, I do feel like they look out for my best interests. I think Dr. Olson's a fantastic dentist because she's very knowledgeable and seems very serious about my oral health. Very serious. There seemed to have been a lot of turnover there, which I was concerned about, but as a patient, my experience has been real good each time - as good as a dental visit can be anyway.

Not a good experience this time, I went there for routine dental check-up(x-rays, bitewings etc.), I did check with them 2-3 times before going to hospital whether they are participating in-network or not for Metlife. Their office staff confirmed that they are in-network for metlife regardless of the Doctor I see so I got the x-rays done there. To my surprise, metlife processed the claim in out of network mode and charged me.Metlife customer support strongly saying they are not in-network, you guys should have told me these things when I called for appointment.

I had a filling done about a year ago. It never felt right so I went in to get it redone by another dentist. He had to redo the simple filling 3 times! After an hour of laying there my anesthetic was wearing off and I told him I was in pain. He did not give me anymore lidocaine, just told me "the lidocane is wearing off because of how many times i had to redo it". At the end, he told me it was finally right and rushed me out of the office because it was the end of the day and he had a chiropractor appointment to get to. He didn't even ask me if it felt right or if i thought it needed to be adjusted. Nonetheless, I won't be going back.

Can be a bit aggressive in treatment and recommending pricey procedures. I chose this dental clinic after doing some research and reading reviews here on Google. I should have taken my experience making an appointment as an omen. The lady on the phone was nice and courteous, but due to her not really understanding basic things I was saying to her (I work in the healthcare field myself, so I know the lingo and was trying to communicate that way, but nope), it took about 20 minutes to schedule a simply intake appointment. When I arrived for the appointment, again, the staff was friendly and courteous, and the office is clean, tidy, and welcoming. The exam was not overly gentle, and that was after the hygienist had to wait for the tools to do it. As a result, it took almost an hour for a basic exam and by that time I didn't have enough time for them to do the cleaning. On top of that, they recommended a couple fairly pricey procedures. I got a second opinion from my old dentist (who works in Roseville, and I will be staying with her going forward, worth the drive) and she said it wasn't necessary at this point.

I had a lot of stains and plaque build up from the braces and they were able to get everything off, without using those awful drills that I hate so much. We had left an awesome dental practice in Atlanta, that we truly loved, and thought we could never find anything remotely similar. Whereas Midwest Dental is smaller and more "quaint," I am impressed by the level of individual attention. The receptionist never has to ask one's name, the hygienists take a personal interest in the people they serve, and the dentists do a very thorough exam (not just a 30 second "everything looks good" type of thing).
