Nothing but kind and reassuring my whole visit! Haven't seen a dentist in 10 years so I walked with fear of judgement and was surprised at how kind everyone was and how reassuring they made my whole visit feel!

I have been a patient with Midwest Dental on Birch Street for many years now. My dentist is Dr. Habben, a man I dearly respect both as a professional dentist and as a good man who has his head "on straight". The staff at Midwest Dental are terrific! They always welcome me with a smile and a word of encouragement. They are willing to engage in conversation, are always ready with a smile, and have great senses of humor. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my dental work. They have even inspired better brushing/flossing hygiene with me.

My son and I have went to this office for years, and I have never had a problem. With that being said, My son who is 7 has anxiety going to the dentist because every time he has received nitrous it has made him vomit, and any normal person, including adults would be somewhat nervous going to a appointment that they had thrown up at from the nitrous 2 previous times. The hygienist was very nice , but Dr Haben was rude, and acted like a 2 year old when my son started gagging with the bite block. He was inpatient and refused to continue after my son was already numb from the two shots that he did just fine with. He was slamming his tools around, and was acting like more of a child then the actual child laying in the chair. He pretty much told me that he needed to be put down to have dental work done. and held up my sons arm and said "look hes shaking", well my son has non essential tremors. I will never go to this office again, other then to get my dental records to establish elsewhere. I work in the medical field, and if myself or any of my coworkers treated our peers, or our patients like we were treated, I would lose my job. "Family dentist", what a joke.
