I haven't been to the dentist in years and I was nervous. I was also in a lot of pain, and a little scared about what would have to be done to relieve that pain. The friendly and professional dental assistant, and the dentist really eased my worries. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

After moving my appointment out an additional 3 weeks from when I had initially tried to schedule it, I get a phone call less than 24 hours before my appointment to let me know they were 'no longer accepting new patients' and that my appointment was cancelled. I was only offered a phone number for their other locations. The laughable part was the automated appointment reminder text I got that evening. Then they called me back the following week to reschedule and their reasoning was that the dentist had an emergency and couldn't honor my initial appointment. After questioning my initial cancellation the person I was speaking with did not respond and I was sent to an automated message! I could care less why they had to reschedule but jerking me around for over a month and/or straight up lying about my cancellation is just terrible customer service.

Left work early, drove an hour and a half for an appointment to find out the dentist was not there. Truly disappointed. Looking elsewhere.

I was with Dr Chapman for decades and was very sorry to see him go however, everyone at Midwest has been kind, helpful and professional. I have had my teeth cleaned by Angela Fraser and she was absolutely fantastic! Kind, careful and informative. I have also been to see Dr. Pineschi twice- once to prepare for a crown and the second time to have my crown finished. He was very professional and careful of my comfort and funny and kept the whole crown install (is that what its called?!) light and easy. I highly recommend both Dr. Pineschi and Angela!

I had a very pleasant experience at Midwest Dental in Beloit. I had to change dentist and called Midwest on a recommendation from a friend. I was pleased with everything, from the initial call to make an appointment to when I walked out the door after the appointment. Everyone was genuinely nice, displayed care and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. I was a new patient and had to go through that whole process but they made it quick and easy. I was seen within minutes of arrival and my hygienist was the best. She explained everything and showed true concern for my dental health. The doctor found time to fix a problem instead of making me come back another day. I was impressed with everything from the clean modern facility to every employee I encountered.

Had my first initial exam and cleaning there today, amazing service! I did not have to wait for my appointment and my Hygienist, Kim was very informative and did an excellent job cleaning my teeth! Seriously the best cleaning I had. Dr Yamen was very nice and professional and asked me what my needs, wants and goals were for my treatment. I will recommend this place to everyone!

I'm a relatively new patient. I've been in for two visits, one for x-rays and routine cleaning, the other for a deep cleaning. My hygienist was very thorough and informative on both visits. I'll be going back for my future dental needs. Highly recommended!

I love the staff at Midwest dental. The front desk girls are very welcoming and warming. Dr. Yamen has done all my work from fillings to my orthodontic care, it's like a one stop shop. He explains everything and the procedures are quick, I am in and out in less then an hour. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The staff here was very friendly and knowledgeable. They explained everything regarding the care of my teeth and gums. The overall environment was positive and everything was very clean!

Edit- I can no longer recommend. I made multiple attempts to get in for a routine cleaning/check up. On 2 occasions they cancelled my appointment and both times they rescheduled my appointment about a month out. I finally just cancelled and told them to forget it. Well a couple weeks ago I get a call from them wanting to setup an appointment; I figured I'd give them another shot after explaining what happened previously. Well after listening to the receptionist say, "one second", "Ugh", "the computer is going slow today" for five minutes straight; I just hung up. No thanks guys. Original Review: The hygienist, Kim, took good care of me on my first visit to Midwest. Dr. Yamen was also pleasant and will be repairing a bad tooth of mine in a couple of weeks.

I wish I could give a zero star rating. Midwest "dental" has horrible employees . I was with Chapman and Connely for almost 40 years. They should have done themselves a favor and at least kept some of C&C staff. Today's hygienist was absolutely horrible! I have never in 40 years of service had my mouth assaulted so aggressively. The worse dental experience ever. I am leaving to find a new dentist after 40 years of dedicated business to Chapman and Connely .

That Dr. Yamen guy is a COMPLETE joke of a dentist and needs to find another career ASAP because he is unprofessional, rude, and arrogant. Will not take the time to answer ypur questions and instead belittles you because "hes the dentist" and not you. I informed their receptionist of how much of a jerk i thought the guy was, then at my next appointment, he said he will not do any more work with me because of what i said to the receptionist. In a very rude and mocking way. This guy needs help clearly he was never loved as a child. Yikes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE FOLKS NOT UNTIL YAMEN IS GONE

Always a pleasure to go in for services. I will miss my hygenist I had for several years, but I am hoping to have another one as fun and professional.

I highly suggest this dental clinic to change their front desk, whom usually picking the phone call. She is very rude (hanging up the phone in the mid of conversation) and always misunderstood what people's talking. We are from one of the biggest local company. Many of my colleagues agree that, overall their dentists are great, but the front desk kills the whole service.

Great dentist office. Love my dental hygienist -super easy to talk to and speedy service. Always running a great bleaching special-who doesn't love white teeth!

Waste of time in the first place. Scheduled my first visit for a filling he said couldn't be filled. Left with nothing done that day, but a readout of what I would have to pay was printed for me. Tried to call and get a breakdown of my bill for a root canal I needed to schedule so I knew exactly what needed to be done, my mom was put on hold for 15 minutes and asked if they could call her back. NEVER got a call back. This first impression doesn't look good for the future, so I'll be looking for a new dentist before I can even try this place! If this is how they treat new customers, I really don't know how they will gain business.

I am very pleased with Dr. Yamen. He explains my procedures very well. Great personal interaction. Heather is one of the best dental hygienists I have ever had. Highly recommend this dental office.

Do not recommend. After Dr. Connelly and Chapman left this place went downhill. This Dentist does not seem to take the time to make you feel valued, only seems to care about charging you/insurance company. Too bad they lost my family/friends service, after 18 years. So disappointed.

I've been going to Midwest Dental for 7 years and have never been disappointed. I arrive on time and they are ready to see me each time. They have a great staff at the front desk, my hygienist is one of the best I've ever had. I like the reminders via text msgs and emails. Dr. Yamen Akhras is friendly and answers all of my questions and I've recommended Midwest Dental in Beloit to my co-workers.

Dr. Yamen Akhras and his team have turned the old champman and connelly into a 1 stop shop for all your dental needs. From wisdom teeth to implants and everthing inbetween. Dr. Yamen really does love dentistry and cares about your oral health. I have had 3 root canals and crowns done and they all healed and look great and I even fell asleep during one of them the man is good !! The cool part about Dr. Yamen and his team is that they dont judge you if you have'nt exactly taken the best care of your teeth in the past, he just wants to help you keep what you have . My daughter went in today for her wisdom teeth to be removed they sedated and pulled all 4 and we were out of there in 1 hour, it actually took the pharmacy longer to fill the scripts than the procedure did !!! Dr. Yamen and his team are AWESOME go see them you won't regret it .

Really bad experience with one of the dental assistants, I called to make a complaint because she was very rude to me and I never had a formal apology, don't know if my complaint was addressed properly like I was told.

I have only been to the office once for the initial xrays, cleaning, etc. My hygenist, Rebecca, took great care of me. The office staff is friendly and appear very competent. I am looking forward a great relationship.

I have been going to Midwest Dental about three years. They have always taken me in shortly after I arrive, and I have been impressed with how well they handle insurance. I always know ahead of time how much I will end up paying. I am old enough to have experienced a number of dentists, and Midwest is gentler than most. They also did an extraction right on site, and they have never tried to coerce me into treatments I can't afford. For years I went to a larger facility in another city which seriously lacked in most of these areas, so I appreciate Midwest.

I went to Dr Chapman for over 10 years. But when it became Midwest dental the service dramatically depreciated. they just want to get you in and out so they can do the next person. Wait time in the afternoon is over an hour. They don't do a very good job filling teeth and making nice smooth edges between the teeth and below the gumline. some dental hygienists even get in an argument with you about the enviroment, politics and religion. Don't go, if you do and get the cat lady. May whatever God you pray to help you. She is the worst!
