On Monday, April 29, I called Midwest in Holmen right at opening time to see about getting my grown daughter in due to breaking off her front teeth on Friday the 26th. On that Fri and Sat, I had made a multitude of calls to try to get her in on emergency basis at any dentist in the area. I had no luck but then on Monday, Midwest came thru for me. They had a full schedule but they were able to let her come in and helped her out with some temporary crowns. She had to sit for most of the day so she could be worked on between others. The office only had the Dr there and the desk attendent who was also having to be the assistant. My daughter and I are so grateful that they were able to fix her teeth and let her smile again. This was complete devastation but they came through so she didn't have to go too long without her beautiful teeth. Thank you so much Dr Sarah K and Angie!! A plus!!!

I have never been a fan of going to the dentist but I’ve been coming to Midwest Dental for several years and I have had great experiences with Dr. Bakke and JP. They are a great team and always make sure I’m comfortable and know what to expect. They are so awesome that I had to write this review and let them know how much I appreciate them! Every single employee that I have come into contact with at the Holmen office has been friendly, polite and genuinely interested in my concerns. Over my nearly 80 years I have come in contact with several dentists in several different parts of the country. Dr. Gill is both very professional and compassionate. I have been on a dental journey for the past several months and I can honestly say that even though it has been stressful and at times painful, for the first time ever, I look forward to going to my appointments. Most of my interactions have been with Angie, Kiana and Dr. Gill, but the entire office staff at this office appears to be compatible, efficient and friendly.

I've went to Midwest Dental to get a tooth fixed. I have High Blood pressure so before they would do anything, they talked only about me having to be below a level before they would even look at me to fix the tooth. Level didn't meet what they wanted, so they didn't do anything. Also I asked about Nitrous Oxide if they would give me some. I only got this run around answer only if that room is available. Also I don't like that they won't charge to your insurance company they want their money up front. All these things made me go to a different dentist that understands my needs and has no problem with High Blood Pressure because I have it under control with medication. My new dentist at Siegert Dental was amazing. He fixed my cracked tooth and had a much better experience than at Midwest Dental Holmen.

My original dentist retired a few years ago. Since then I have been on the search for a new dentist. Spent about the last two years getting care from Midwest Dental in Holmen. Each time I went there I had something else wrong. From needing braces or my teeth will fall out to having a tongue tie I should have clipped. Had a cleaning in fall of 2021. Good exam, no cavities, one area to keep an eye on. Came in for my routine cleaning in April of 2022. I had no concerns. Dr. Gill said I had 6 cavities and needed a crown. Weird to go from just fine to 6 cavities. The quote they gave me for the crown was $1200 plus an extra couple hundred for all the cavities. I finally decided to get a second opinion. The new dentist agreed I needed a crown. He did not find any cavities and one spot to keep an eye on. The total cost for the crown at a different dentist was $188. Long way from the $1200 midwest would have charged me. Yes, both of the dental offices are in my network.

I would not recommend Midwest Dental in Holmen. Dr. Gill quoted me an extensive treatment plan and after receiving a second opinion it was found that I needed none of what she recommended. I believe Midwest Dental is not practicing in the patients favor. Go elsewhere!

Dr. Gill and the staff within the office are amazing! I was nervous when I reached out to the office because it had been a while since I had been to the dentist. When I went in my first visit, they explained everything and did not judge the length of time that had passed. They welcomed me and made me feel like a valued customer/patient. Every visit since has been met with the same customer/patient care that I received my first visit. They help me troubleshoot issues I may have to make the next visit better than the one before. The "doctor" is unprofessional, unwilling to listen and you'll be just another number. Do yourself a favor, do not go there! When Midwest Dental first came to Holmen the staff was nice, friendly and I trusted them. When they left they went through many dentists, two of them I didn’t even meet. Dr. Gill is our new Dentist and she is warm, friendly and I feel very comfortable with her as I do with Angie her dental assistant. I was going to find a new place to go, but now I don ‘t have to. The dentist was very rude and unprofessional. First thing she says to me when she walks in the room is “you don’t look too good”. She made me feel insecure and I felt judged. I will not return because of this dentist. Upon check-out, staff asked me about my treatment plan and the dentist didn’t even provide me with a treatment plan. Next. I had a very great experience working with Dr. Bao and her team in Holmen. I was seen for a cleaning one morning and was able to be seen for my treatment the NEXT DAY. I also squeezed in impressions for a nice deal on a mouth guard at night. I have had about 4 dentists in my young life, Dr. Bao is my favorite, she operates at ease and is thorough. Her team is knowledgeable and wants to help you learn how to take best care and they put you first. Their equipment is up-to-date. Very impressed I will be sticking around :)

New appointment was made for May 24, but was notified today (day before the appointment) that they had to reschedule again - this time for July. This is unacceptable. I am returning to the Horton Street office.
