Went to Midwest Dental for the first time and was extremely pleased. I previously had gone to Aspen Dental where I was told I had a cavity and would have to pay $260 for a teeth cleaning (with insurance). Upon arrival at Midwest I was greeted my extremely friendly staff and had a good conversation with one of the dental hygienist. Once speaking with the dentist I was told that I did not have a cavity, which thrilled me. I had previously before arriving been told I may have to pay out of pocket for the x-rays because I had gotten x-rats from Aspen and they had not released them. However, at checkout I was told they would cover the x-rays, because it should not fall financially on me to pay because it was Aspen Dentals fault for not sending them over. I, as well as, my coworker will receive $20 gift cards because she recommended me. My teeth cleaning will also be completed covered. I was extremely pleased and will recommend anyone I know to switch to Midwest Dental!

After today, we will not be returning to Midwest Dental Madison East. The hygienist, Megan, who treated my son was extremely rude and condescending. So much, in fact, that she called my wife following the appointment to complain about the time and effort required for my son’s cleaning. Odd considering that is her job! She claimed to have done a ‘special deep cleaning’ that apparently was just an attempt to dislodge his braces from his teeth. This procedure was done without prior guardian consent and not covered by insurance. If you are considering going here, you may want to think again.

I have been coming here and my family, but just 4 days ago i had partial deep cleaning done.. half of my face swelled like i put a golf ball in my mouth, my jaw is bruised like somebody upper cut me.. the hygienist that did my cleaning had heavy hands that i had to stop her 2x because she was pressing too hard on my lips.. that probably explained my bruised on my cheek i was numb so i can't really feel how rough she was going.. i was given antibiotic but i'm still swollen that hygienist should pay for my bill for all the pain i suffered.. will try to look for a new dental office because i'm not letting that hygienist touch me or my kids ever again..

TERRIBLE AND MEAN! I had to go here on a Friday to get a temporary crown replaced because my regular dentist was closed. I explained that I was terrified of the dentist and was told to "get over it because there's nothing to be afraid of and stop jerking around because it's making it hard for me to do what I need to do" (my jerking around was from me crying and him being rough). I have had terrible dentist experiences in the past, as many people have, but this dentist could not have cared less. He was very rough while in my mouth and kept knocking his tools around. Not to mention that the replacement crown that he crafted looks like a piece of corn. If it hadn't been such a prominent tooth and a Friday, I would've walked out.

Having a crown done. I was told one price back in October. I come in today and they tell me it will be $700 +. I ask why so much more? They look and see I have insurance that will cover %50. So I am now paying $463. $463 is 50% of $926. The sheet with the quote they gave me says $902. If you are following this I am amazed. I decided to leave and not have the procedure. I appreciated that she informed me about my dental health and not just go in, poke at my mouth, let me look at her nose hairs, and be like "ok, bye". Lyn did my cleaning and she was funny and really personable and although she did ask questions while her hands were in my mouth, she knew when to remove them so that I could answer and have a nice conversation. Doctor Xiong and her staff are wonderful. Always smiling and kind. I recently had a few fillings redone and I had to bring my child. They were so nice to interact with her and make her feel important all the while I was having work done. I recommend this clinic to everyone. I have never had a bad experience here. We are fairly new to Midwest Dental, but, I have to say I have never received such nice and friendly treatment! My daughter, Angela, is three and has a hard time with new places. I took her to Dentist Mia and she loved her. Angela was walked through every procedure and she is so excited to go back. It is nice to have companies that are patient with everyone; especially the little every ones :)
