I had an overall great experience here. First, there was little to no waiting time when I showed up to my appoint on-time. The receptionist was pleasant and answered my questions gracefully. Dr. Hwang went over my x-rays, and it's both a blessing and a curse. What I mean by this is that he's very brief and to-the-point. He will tell you every thing he sees, no matter how minuscule (though nothing dental really ever is), and withhold no punches. Yet, he is friendly, professional, and I have steadfast confidence in his judgement. You never want to hear about what's wrong but in the end, it's ultimate good for you (your health). Jen was the hygienist who performed my cleaning, and I cannot give enough praise for this woman! I felt very comfortable with her at the helms and learned a great deal from her. It felt like I was getting a lecture (in a good way) and a dental cleaning at the same time. She's very easy to talk to and listen to, should you have any cosmetic or preventative questions. In total, this office has a mildly relaxing, welcoming atmosphere, and the employees all seemed quite content with being there. It sucks they're not open on the weekends or in the evening later part of the week, but it's well worth it if the experience is what I had. A-rating!

Very friendly, proficient, and professional staff. The environment is always clean and comfortable. I haven't had a single bad experience or criticism yet! Would definitely recommend.

They actually took the time to explain the cause and effect of different Dental issues, and what the procedures they were doing did to your teeth and the reasons for doing it. This is the first time I've been to a dentist and actually understood what was going on and the reasoning behind it. Now that I understand how different Dental issues work and affect your overall dental health, I know what I need to do outside of the office to keep my dental health at its peak and prevent other m,ore serious issues. Best dental experience to date! (Also, very cognizant of sensitive areas and how to be as gentle and pain - free as possible.)

Dr. T is really the best dentist and the one I would recommend to go to at Midwest. I had a filling done poorly through a different dentist and Dr. T was able to fix it perfectly. I would say the receptionist can be a little rude sometimes.

Horrible customer service. I had an appointment scheduled which I had the email confirmation. She did nothing to accommodate. When I said it was unacceptable she just blew it off. I was a new patient as well. So this makes it easier to move on.

Fantastic! I needed fillings right away because of other commitments, and couldn't get in with my usual dentist, so I scheduled with Dr. Shrestha. The work was on my middle front teeth--very visible. That's a high-pressure situation for a dentist who's never seen me before! And frankly, I was nervous about it. But she was confident and did a great job. She even localized the anesthetic for me so I would quickly regain feeling. I am so grateful to Dr. Shrestha for her care.

I requested an emergency appointment for the following day, and they were happy to accommodate my request. Laura, the dental assistant, was warm and thorough. Additionally, Dr. Hwang was friendly and compassionate. I couldn’t be happier with my experience, and I’m looking forward to my follow-up visit with this great team!

I’ve been to this dental office for all my recent services and they’re great! Just had my cleaning done today and in my past experiences with other offices it has been pretty painful but today it was much more acceptable and the entire staff was very friendly and helpful as usual. Really happy I chose these folks - makes me actually want to keep coming back!

Dr. T and Jordan were both incredibly nice and helpful when explaining information, that was probably very obvious and commonplace, to someone like me who doesn’t understand much at all about dentistry And oral health. If I lived in Madison they would 100% be my office of choice.

I have always had the best of care, friendly service, and respect from my dentist and hygienist. I would recommend them to anyone. Even today I can't think of anything more to say.

I went here for several years and I have to say my dental hygienists were lovely. They were engaging and seemed to genuinely want to care for me as a patient. I was seeing a dentist here and ultimately felt this individual was not the right dentist for me. There was a lack of patient/bedside manner and I felt pressured to receive services that weren't quite medically necessary. I've since gone to another dentist who did not agree with the dental care plan proposed by my Midwest Dental dentist. I am sure every dentist has their own patient care plans, but from what I've understood these types of corporations do have a financial quota to meet from higher ups. Perhaps that is what caused the pressure in the first place? I guess just take what is recommend with a grain of salt and when in doubt get a second opinion!

I was looking for a new dentist since we just moved to the area and I was not disappointed! The office staff is very friendly and helpful and Dr. Lee was FABULOUS! When I went in for my initial appointment/exam, they even were able to get me in for a cleaning later that day because someone else had cancelled - going above and beyond to make things more convenient for me.

Haven't gone in yet but just the scheduling has already thrown me off in my choice to come here. I tried scheduling through email which was a bad choice; it takes a week for someone to reply. I mentioned I wanted a specific time frame and that was missed so I had to do the "per my last email" thing and that took another week to be replied to. Granted, I did eventually get a time that I wanted but then I ended up missing it for personal reasons and when I called to reschedule the lady on the phone told me she wouldn't schedule me again because I was going to keep missing the visits (..maybe consider some customer service training). She said I missed my last TWO visits, the one I was calling to reschedule and one from another month back. Then she went on to say that when they called on the phone for those appointments, I didn't answer. Thing is, I only ever scheduled one appointment and they didn't even have my phone number... we had been communicating over email. They had some completely random number on file and I never received a call. Maybe they're looking at someone else's file (if so, hopefully that person got their visit sorted out too)............... Regardless, I am now rescheduled and they now have my actual phone number, plus my office phone just in case. Awaiting my visit and will update :/ hoping the office visit will improve the experience. Will also use phone from now on.

Dr. T (not to be confused with Mr. T) was wonderfully explanative in my new patient exam. He did a thorough review of records and comprehensive assessment of the current state of my oral health. He gave a quick, but relevant oral health education with details no other dentist has given me. It's nice to be informed of what's going on in my own mouth. Love this place!

My family has been going to Dr. T for around 20 years. He has always explained what is going on with me and my kids teeth in a non judgemental way that I appreciate. They are always very friendly when I walk in and during the appointment. My kids are now adults and still go to Midwest Dental. Quality care at a reasonable price.

Dr. Tregoning was friendly and professional, as one would expect, but he was also very thorough and explained causes and effects that I'd never heard any dentists mention before. I've only just started going there, but so far I'm definitely impressed!

I've been going to this Midwest Dental for over a year now, and I've always had a good experience with the staff. My first visit I saw Dr. Lee, and I apologize forget the name of her assistant. They where very professional taking many x rays and then examining each and every tooth. Dr. Lee was very pleasant and also had a good rapport with her assistant. A happy group of people makes a nice atmosphere. Dr Lee explained her findings and recommendations in a manner I could understand. I actually appreciated the two step method, as I was not there for hours. The next trip was the cleaning which was done in about an hour. Professional and I felt they did a good job. A nice thing is they don't make you sit in the waiting room for hours. They keep to their schedule. A good experience and I would recommend, especially Dr. Lee

The dentists and hygienists are very personable and make you feel comfortable during your cleaning. I used to live near here and chose them based on location, but since then I've moved across town and still go to Midwest Dental despite the trek.

I've been to a lot of different dentists and endodontists this year and this group of people are the WORST. They referred me to an endodontist for a root canal and they did the crown themselves and I almost wish I would have just had them pull the tooth all together if I couldn’t have gone to someone else. The crown is oversized and feels incredibly fake. They had to sand down the molar below it to make it fit and even then it still rubbed on my lower tooth until it eroded away. I tried several times to explain this to Dr Ena Lee when she was fitting it, but it was like she didn't believe me and she was so cold/uncaring that I told her she was being rude and put me in tears over all the money I spent on something I truly disliked. To top it off, I was having them send x-rays to another endodontist so I could get a second root canal and she said I would need to sign a release since I expressed I would not return to them. When I got the fax it detailed I had to pay $10 before they would send anything over (she never told me this) so I called them right away and said for the sake of me needing this root canal now, can I just say I'm not switching dentists and you send over my information? She did it without question (for free) in a very rude sarcastic way. Screw these guys. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I was supposed to come in for an xray for my wisdom teeth from my doctor but was told the machine wasn't working here for the appointment. I had to put off my apt with the doctor taking them out and reschedule things again at a different office. I was surprised the machine to take pictures wouldn't work in a big office like this

Dr. T and the hygienists I have worked with have all been extremely pleasant. I always had a slight phobia of visiting the dentist and that has been alleviated by Dr. T and the staff at Midwest Dental. My only dislike is that occasionally when you call to make an appointment you may have to leave a message and wait for a call back.
