My experience today may have me looking for a new dentist! I had a 7:30 am appointment and was scolded for being late by one minute. The dentist told me she was in a hurry and was already behind when I tried to express my personal dental needs. The dentist was also rude to her assistant and then told me about their staffing issues. I left in tears.

My dental hygienist Kim is amazing and had made both experiences great due to her wonderful conversation and and care and concern while messing around in my mouth. Although she did a wonderful job, fixing my teeth in the front she was very rude to me. I had low blood sugar and she scolded me for being late when I was on time and didn’t say sorry. I paid her a lot of money to fix my teeth, so at least she could’ve been more nice. She kind of treated me like I was trash.

I am so impressed with this place. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I put off going to dentist for far too long, but they instantly made me feel totally comfortable. Came up with a plan of care that I can manage one step at a time. I had to have an extraction, and I must say they did such a beautiful job of giving me a totally pain free experience. Looking forward to tackling the rest of the work I need done. No more fear of dentist! Only wish I had come in sooner.

Brian Weir was the best dentist my husband and I had. He was a very caring person. My mother had health issues and when she saw him for an emergency, he phoned her on a Saturday afternoon to check on her and how she was doing. We loved him and his wonderful smile and laugh. I came back from a trip badly in need of a root canal. Midwest Dental staff were wonderful about getting me scheduled that day and called when there was an earlier cancellation. Dr Wier was able to give me immediate relief and start antibioctic treatments. This furthest back upper molar required a referral to an endodontist to complete the root canal and Dr Wier was very honest about the complications. The endodontist confirmed that there was an uncommon 4th canal and confirmed that he couldn't find it without his specialized equipment. Thank you to Midwest Dental for their continuing great care and concern.

How can one Love a Dentist's office? On the other how not to? After 70+ years of receiving dental care and harm, I am in a position to make a judgement for myself. My experience over the last couple years with this office of Midwest Dental has found a wondrous combination: a great deal of the personal touch; Great training of the staff, and most of all a Dentist that knows his personal skills and the human body. That means he knows my nervous system and applies proper pain blocks; uses the tools to do the most effective in repairs with the least ancillary damage, and he does that at a reasonable cost and they take most insurance plans... Many words to describe a modern business with a small town flavor but they do apply. And, most of all I do not receive any special care for this review!
