I don't normally write reviews but my experience yesterday with Dominic and Dr. Rodriguez made me applaud! I have been going to this location for 6 years and I am a flosser and a 6 month cleaning girl to NOT have to have dental work. I needed a filling fixed or replaced. I really get anxious about dental work. I know I am not alone. I told Dominic and Dr. Rodriguez and they were GREAT. I've jumped out of a plane, shark cave dived and a simple filling makes my heart race. They talked me through everything, and worked so quickly and completely to fix (not replace) the filling!! So happy! They did the work needed and nothing more. Go here, you will be happy.

I can't believe I was not going to go to their office in Racine. I'm super happy I did. Because if I didn't, I would not have left happy just once but all three visits. I was considered each time there could be a "risk" for me. I was taken care of very well. I even got to take care of a service from a later day. I can not recommend another dentist. I had gone there 3 times and never received a bill, I had to cancel my appointment due to my work schedule 24 hours prior to the appointment, the next week I received an UNITEMIZED bill that just said…”AMOUNT YOU OWE “ of 900.00! You would think after each visit you would get an itemized bill. I called my insurance company and the lady said those practices were not right and my insurance company did pay them. I’m never going back again. You’re supposed to get a bill in a timely manner.

I went here for a dentist appt while visiting my family. First of all, they were super judgemental because i hadn’t been to the dentist for a couple of years. Then, the lady who was cleaning my teeth got water all over me and constantly had to clean me up. I’ve gone to the dentist my whole life and NEVER had this experience. The cherry on top was that the WisNova dentist told me I had a cavity that needed to be “filled immediately” and had two other possible ones. However, I went to a dentist where I lived in a different state instead and they told me that I DIDN’T need a cavity filling and had no cavities WHATSOEVER according to their x-rays and manual check. I am so pissed because WisNova almost made me pay for a procedure I DIDN’T NEED. Never going here again.

I was greeted by JENNI - the receptionist who had all of my insurance paperwork in order along with my X-Rays from my previous dentist. My Hygienist, Candace, was thorough and informative - and best of all, she's a Chicago Cubs fan (hey Brewer fans, don't hold it against her - it's a fun rivalry). Then there's Dr. Rota - outstanding. They told me that they accepted my insurance, told me how much my appointment was going to be, and then billed me an additional $361 for services that I would have opted out of had I known. When I called they told me that they were out of network, and so the insurance has to adjust their coverage. If they can see that they are out of network and thereby know that their estimate is unreliable, why didn't they tell me that before they put cosmetic resin on the back of two of my teeth? After speaking to their billing department, I feel like I was intentionally misled. EDIT: I contacted them directly to discuss this before writing this review, and they were not even remotely helpful. The reply to this review is entirely disingenuous and they should be ashamed of their questionable business practices.

I've contacted corporate about their use of Dr Reesman 's tax id number instead of Midwest dentals. This allows them to say you're not in network and charge more money . They're supposed to be a Midwest dental office but it's in name only . Looking into attorneys now as this very much seems bait and switch tactics. Also , don't expect the new patient special price or free electric toothbrush that's on Midwest dentals website. You're not getting either here . The dentists are good, don't get me wrong, staff is friendly as well . But I think billing and purposely not changing a tax id number is fraudulent.

I went there years ago when it was just Dr. Reesman. I received very good care from him. Years later and about a few years ago after receiving a phone call from them I thought it was meant to be and made an appt. thinking I was seeing Dr. Reesman again! I was so wrong! I went in need for dental help as I haven't seen a dentist and the ones I did see did nothing for me! When I went in it was Dr. Kemper! I didn't know who he was. I was not pleased with him at all and he didn't do much for me but took x-rays! That he didn't charge me. He wouldn't do anything else for me and sent me on my way with bad feelings! I also seen how they remodeled extensively and expensive I'm sure! And it seemed just like it was for the money to me as I had no insurance and no other option was offered!

I've been going here about a year or two now& it's by far the best dentist I've been to. The staff are extremely friendly, considerate and understanding. Dr. Kemper & the hygienists are always very helpful& careful to not hurt you or cause any discomfort, with even a simple teeth cleaning. Not only are they all super friendly they help ease you worries rather it be dental anxiety, expense, and or just easing an 8 year olds fear of the dentist because of past dentist experiences. Fixing all my cavities was a worry for me because of money, they walked me through what I would be paying out of pocket and if we needed to set up a payment plan luckily they’re priced nicely and my insurance covers a lot so I didn’t need a payment plan just making two simple payments.
