I told them from the start I was a "problem pt.", thing's happen to me that shouldn't and if he was up for the challenge I would give them a chance. Almost 3years later and I'm still here with Suzanne and Dr. Smith my forever dentist family. They have basically built me a new mouth. The smallest details that you don't think about they do and make sure it looks right. I know some people are hesitant to go anywhere, because they are embarrassed of how bad their teeth are DON'T BE!!! This team will treat you with respect and care to give you back your...whatever....and if they can't the referral specialists are the best. This place has really fallen off. They keep billing me for something that is covered under my insurance. They switched dentist very quickly and never updated my paper work on their end. The reason for the switch was because the dentist who started my work was fired. He was previously disciplined for drinking on the job. None of this was ever told to me and kept very hush hush. I've called four times now and each time they say they will take care of their mistake. I've never received a call back. They just wait a month then resend me the same bill.

During this 35 years, we have undergone several dental implants, root canals, crowns and a partial bridge; along with the routine cavities. Several of these services were performed by specialists (outside the two above mentioned umbrellas), but only after consulting with Dr. Maggio in order to choose the most efficient and lasting procedures. The entire staff at the current Midwest Dental office, including the additional professionals, technicians and administrative staff are always courteous, caring, accommodative & helpful. We have never experienced any difficulties in scheduling appointments, including several emergencies prior to overseas travels. My in-laws are from Paris France and we were always able to squeeze in appointments for the issues they were experiencing with ill-fitting bridges that were fabricated in France.

This is the best experience I have ever had with a dentist anywhere. Dr. Maggio and the whole staff at the Waunakee office are always helpful, friendly, flexible and punctual and usually go way beyond the norm to help however they can. I have rarely ever waited more than 5 minutes for an appointment and whenever there is a scheduling, insurance or other issues, they have always been very willing to work with me. I can not say enough good about my experiences with the Waunakee office. I often feel like it is like seeing old friends when I go in for an appointment. I do not know what I will do after Dr. Maggio retires.

For various reasons it had been quite a few years since my last trip to the dentist, I was very hesitant to make a visit because I was worried about the lecture that I would receive but that didn't happen. I really felt like even though it was a routine cleaning, I was a priority and a few members even stayed late because of a computer glitch that pushed my appointment back, instead of making me reschedule and come in again. I will be making Midwest Dental my primary dentist for the foreseeable future.
