This place is trash. Dr. Lang is one of the worst dentist's I have visited. I was told if I paid my bill I would be seen and they took my money and denied to see me. Threaten me all the time to send bills to collections but don't send them to me. Stay far away from Midwest Dental.

I had dental work done and normally I'm always terrified. The dentist Dr. Charging and hygienist Lynn were awesome. They explained every step of the way, reassured me and made me feel calm. I didn't have a current dentist and was too afraid to go because past dentist visits at other places have always caused me pain and left me dreaming the next appointment. Recently I had tooth pain that I NEEDED to have taken care of. I went for an emergency appt at midwest, and was given options for how I wanted to proceed with a bad tooth. I went in for an extraction that I was SCARED TO DEATH of. But I never once felt any pain, no discomfort, and the staff as well as dentist were all super friendly and professional. Will definitely continue using midwest in the future and for my family!

I had an on call visit today, and wow was i impressed, DR, Wood and his assistant Maddie was super, even being the 4th of July they were very upbeat, friendly, 2 very amazing people I got to meet today and did an amazing job pulling my tooth. Gave me all my options, explained everything very well. I will refer anyone I know to them for great dental work.

Great staff! Learned some cool things about my teeth and had a thorough exam. Had to go back for a small filling and, believe it or not, I even had fun. Everyone was pleasant and we even shared a couple muffled laughs!

We've been to other dentists including pediatric dentists and Dr. Jenna Lang was by far the most welcoming and friendly to my child. My 6 year old asked if she can be her forever dentist! We are driving well over an hour to see her. What brought us to Midwest is that a parent is allowed in the building with their child. Otherwise, I don't know if we would've ever convinced my child to get much needed dental work done.

Bobbie is the best hygienist I've ever had! Answers every question, explains things that she's doing and why, rememberers things we've discussed at my previous appointments, and gives me honest advice. She's also extremely friendly and makes me feel like she really cares about me. Dr. Lang is equally friendly and well qualified. She's goes out of her way to do things for me. I love going for my 6 month cleanings because I like to see them! The whole atmosphere is friendly and the front desk and billing people are always smiling and kind!

I like Mid West Dental. The only thing they did a procedure on me . I thought they checked with my insurance to see if they would pay for it . Even in there text I understood they had checked . Then I get a bill at the end that my Insuance wasn’t going to pay. I asked then if they checked with my insurance and they said they don’t check it was up to me . Well they should have told me so I could have understood. So I had to pay an $80.00. Bill which I didn’t have.

I enjoyed the current dentist (May 2020, sad to leave her), but working with billing and front staff is almost impossible. I went here for 6 years, and it never seemed to work smoothly. Appointments were changed all the time, I would end up having to wait for appointments after showing up on time, if an appointment was changed, it would take a month to re-schedule, etc. I feel I was more than patient with MD, but I felt like a number rather than an actual person. The turnover rate is very quick, too. I went through 3 different dentists and multiple hygienists during my time, too.

Having gotten my teeth cleaned and filling fixed the service is decent. Their billing and payment office is not. Having been making payments since receiving treatment and I'm about to make my last payment, they threaten me with collections. Any company that greedy is not worth your time despite the quality of service provided. I highly do not recommend.

Dr Lang denied me service after being a patient of Midwest for almost a decade. Why? Because I am seeing a specialist for TMJ that I have had for 18 years, and I am seeing a orthodontist for my braces that I have had put on to help with the TMJ. She states having all those services of care she is afraid I am not receiving the level of care I need. I have put $11,000 dollars into my mouth in the past 2 years and I am being denied care from my dentist? I can't even imagine recommending a single person to ANY of the MANY Midwest Dentals due to this experience. I need 2 yearly cleanings and any cavaties, etc done by a Dentist. Not a TMJ specialist or an orthodontist. I wish Midwest Dental the best as they have been great. But I cannot imagine Dr. Lang being a dentist you will want to further her career by turning away your patients. If you are here reading this and looking for a dentist in Wausau. Midwest is great, just shy away from choosing Dr. Lang.

I have been coming here for about two years and have been told twice that I needed my gums deep cleaned. They told me what the cost would be and what my insurance would cover. They were wrong and then sent me a bill for almost $600. I don't have that kind of money, not to mention the cost they charged me up front. I am paying my bill and finding a different dentist. My friend has the same issues with her gums, but was never told she needed deep cleaning, and her teeth "look " better. Be careful not to get suckered.

Unfortunately, I often feel like I enter a used car lot when I go there for a cleaning. Throughout the entire visit, they are trying to up sell multiple products. It's ok to do it the first time but then they should take note that I'm not interested not ask me again. Every time I visit, I feel like they are trying to sell me the same additional services over and over. They also will not verify what your insurance company covers. Other people I know who go to other offices tell me their dentist verifies with insurance companies before they have you sign on the dotted line to have a service done. I'm considering switching offices.

Dr. Charging and the staff are very engaged, friendly, and competent, but most of all they are perfectionists. I think when it comes to dental work that's the best way to be. I'm about halfway through a rather extensive treatment plan and have only positive experiences. Mostly I work with Dr. Charging, Debbie, Nicole, and Angle at the desk. But everyone else I deal with is the same way. The VA is paying for my treatment and I'm really glad Midwest Dental accepts their referrals. I need a lot of work and we are underway.

Was a terrible experience. Already being nervous about going to see a dentist their attitudes were less than appropriate. Iarrived 30 min early to fill out paperwork and the entire time one of there workings litterally hovered over me the entire time while I completely filled it out without even introducing herself. That was awkward.handed my insurance information over I was told it wasnt real. And I should have a separate card which I obviously didn't. After them telling me I needed to pay in full that day with no payment options till we straightened out their error with my insurance I was kindly escorted from the building with no exam or empathy of the situation. Very displeased and unsatisfied. I should of took the other bad reviews to heart before entering the business. Whole experience was a joke.

I had my hygiene appointment yesterday morning and my experience was great. Checked in right away and went to sit down in one of the two new elevated chairs they had added to the waiting room. (I previously had commented about the lack of taller chairs for us people with mobility issues and now there are two) They listen to the customer's needs. Didn't wait long and Lynn was out to get me within 5 minutes. Lynn did a great job and Dr. Charging came in at the end and did a thorough check of the teeth and mouth and viola I was done. Great job by all and yes the receptionist as well, very pleasant to talk to. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! Thank you for getting the chairs.

The "doc" doesn't care if your teeth looks good or not. She just wants to be in and out. Hate this place, after my invisilign never again! Should of just went with braces instead. I have to go in for so many "30 mins" appointments. And I have to wait so long for everything when they only give me 30 mins of their time and I get charge so much!! Yeah don't recommend this place at all. It was better when the previous doc was there.

Be very careful if you have insurance because you may just find some very large bills coming your way you did not expect . They have a high staff turn over rate and are owned by a profit driven company. They will send you to a collection agency very quickly if you dispute the bill and because they are a large for profit dental company will tell you things to get more work done than your budget may allow.

They will convince you to do the treatment by give you the low estimate price. After I done the treatment, they told me the the estimate just estimate. I need to pay 33% more of what they estimated. If I don't pay they will transfer my account to collections department.

Great dental hygienist, I've been Lynn's patient for several years and she does a great job with my teeth. Looks for issues and makes me aware of what I need to do. The dentists are all friendly that I've seen here and do a good job on those issues I've had. I miss doc Kahler, he was a great guy. Waiting room could use a taller sitting chair for those of us with issues getting up and out of chairs.

My experience here was awful. They told me that I needed to have over 10 cavities filled. I had about 5 done by them and they got to one and told me that I needed a root canal, referred me to an endodontist who told me I didnt need a root canal then refused to treat me without one. I now am going to a new dentist who is going to treat my tooth without the root canal and also told me that there is only one cavity in my mouth, however they have to re-do one of the ones that midwest did because they were not done correctly. All-in-all midwest did work that did not need to be done, did work improperly, and made me really dread getting dental work done.

I didn't have a current dentist and was too afraid to go because past dentist visits at other places have always caused me pain and left me dreaming the next appointment. Recently I had tooth pain that I NEEDED to have taken care of. I went for an emergency appt at midwest, and was given options for how I wanted to proceed with a bad tooth. I went in for an extraction that I was SCARED TO DEATH of. But I never once felt any pain, no discomfort, and the staff as well as dentist were all super friendly and professional. Will definitely continue using midwest in the future and for my family!

I had an on call visit today, and wow was i impressed, DR, Wood and his assistant Maddie was super, even being the 4th of July they were very upbeat, friendly, 2 very amazing people I got to meet today and did an amazing job pulling my tooth. We've been to other dentists including pediatric dentists and Dr. Jenna Lang was by far the most welcoming and friendly to my child. My 6 year old asked if she can be her forever dentist! We are driving well over an hour to see her. What brought us to Midwest is that a parent is allowed in the building with their child. Otherwise, I don't know if we would've ever convinced my child to get much needed dental work done.

Bobbie is the best hygienist I've ever had! Answers every question, explains things that she's doing and why, rememberers things we've discussed at my previous appointments, and gives me honest advice. She's also extremely friendly and makes me feel like she really cares about me. Dr. Lang is equally friendly and well qualified. She's goes out of her way to do things for me. I love going for my 6 month cleanings because I like to see them! The whole atmosphere is friendly and the front desk and billing people are always smiling and kind!

I like Mid West Dental. The only thing they did a procedure on me . I thought they checked with my insurance to see if they would pay for it . Even in there text I understood they had checked . Then I get a bill at the end that my Insuance wasn’t going to pay. I asked then if they checked with my insurance and they said they don’t check it was up to me . Well they should have told me so I could have understood. So I had to pay an $80.00. Bill which I didn’t have.

I enjoyed the current dentist (May 2020, sad to leave her), but working with billing and front staff is almost impossible. I went here for 6 years, and it never seemed to work smoothly. Appointments were changed all the time, I would end up having to wait for appointments after showing up on time, if an appointment was changed, it would take a month to re-schedule, etc. I feel I was more than patient with MD, but I felt like a number rather than an actual person. The turnover rate is very quick, too. I went through 3 different dentists and multiple hygienists during my time, too.

Having gotten my teeth cleaned and filling fixed the service is decent. Their billing and payment office is not. Having been making payments since receiving treatment and I'm about to make my last payment, they threaten me with collections. Any company that greedy is not worth your time despite the quality of service provided. I highly do not recommend.

Dr Lang denied me service after being a patient of Midwest for almost a decade. Why? Because I am seeing a specialist for TMJ that I have had for 18 years, and I am seeing a orthodontist for my braces that I have had put on to help with the TMJ. She states having all those services of care she is afraid I am not receiving the level of care I need. I have put $11,000 dollars into my mouth in the past 2 years and I am being denied care from my dentist? I can't even imagine recommending a single person to ANY of the MANY Midwest Dentals due to this experience. I need 2 yearly cleanings and any cavaties, etc done by a Dentist. Not a TMJ specialist or an orthodontist. I wish Midwest Dental the best as they have been great. But I cannot imagine Dr. Lang being a dentist you will want to further her career by turning away your patients. If you are here reading this and looking for a dentist in Wausau. Midwest is great, just shy away from choosing Dr. Lang.

I have been coming here for about two years and have been told twice that I needed my gums deep cleaned. They told me what the cost would be and what my insurance would cover. They were wrong and then sent me a bill for almost $600. I don't have that kind of money, not to mention the cost they charged me up front. I am paying my bill and finding a different dentist. My friend has the same issues with her gums, but was never told she needed deep cleaning, and her teeth "look " better. Be careful not to get suckered.

Unfortunately, I often feel like I enter a used car lot when I go there for a cleaning. Throughout the entire visit, they are trying to up sell multiple products. It's ok to do it the first time but then they should take note that I'm not interested not ask me again. Every time I visit, I feel like they are trying to sell me the same additional services over and over. They also will not verify what your insurance company covers. Other people I know who go to other offices tell me their dentist verifies with insurance companies before they have you sign on the dotted line to have a service done. I'm considering switching offices.

Dr. Charging and the staff are very engaged, friendly, and competent, but most of all they are perfectionists. I think when it comes to dental work that's the best way to be. I'm about halfway through a rather extensive treatment plan and have only positive experiences. Mostly I work with Dr. Charging, Debbie, Nicole, and Angle at the desk. But everyone else I deal with is the same way. The VA is paying for my treatment and I'm really glad Midwest Dental accepts their referrals. I need a lot of work and we are underway.

Was a terrible experience. Already being nervous about going to see a dentist their attitudes were less than appropriate. Iarrived 30 min early to fill out paperwork and the entire time one of there workings litterally hovered over me the entire time while I completely filled it out without even introducing herself. That was awkward.handed my insurance information over I was told it wasnt real. And I should have a separate card which I obviously didn't. After them telling me I needed to pay in full that day with no payment options till we straightened out their error with my insurance I was kindly escorted from the building with no exam or empathy of the situation. Very displeased and unsatisfied. I should of took the other bad reviews to heart before entering the business. Whole experience was a joke.

I had my hygiene appointment yesterday morning and my experience was great. Checked in right away and went to sit down in one of the two new elevated chairs they had added to the waiting room. (I previously had commented about the lack of taller chairs for us people with mobility issues and now there are two) They listen to the customer's needs. Didn't wait long and Lynn was out to get me within 5 minutes. Lynn did a great job and Dr. Charging came in at the end and did a thorough check of the teeth and mouth and viola I was done. Great job by all and yes the receptionist as well, very pleasant to talk to. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! Thank you for getting the chairs.

The "doc" doesn't care if your teeth looks good or not. She just wants to be in and out. Hate this place, after my invisilign never again! Should of just went with braces instead. I have to go in for so many "30 mins" appointments. And I have to wait so long for everything when they only give me 30 mins of their time and I get charge so much!! Yeah don't recommend this place at all. It was better when the previous doc was there.

Be very careful if you have insurance because you may just find some very large bills coming your way you did not expect . They have a high staff turn over rate and are owned by a profit driven company. They will send you to a collection agency very quickly if you dispute the bill and because they are a large for profit dental company will tell you things to get more work done than your budget may allow.

They will convince you to do the treatment by give you the low estimate price. After I done the treatment, they told me the the estimate just estimate. I need to pay 33% more of what they estimated. If I don't pay they will transfer my account to collections department.

Great dental hygienist, I've been Lynn's patient for several years and she does a great job with my teeth. Looks for issues and makes me aware of what I need to do. The dentists are all friendly that I've seen here and do a good job on those issues I've had. I miss doc Kahler, he was a great guy. Waiting room could use a taller sitting chair for those of us with issues getting up and out of chairs.

My experience here was awful. They told me that I needed to have over 10 cavities filled. I had about 5 done by them and they got to one and told me that I needed a root canal, referred me to an endodontist who told me I didnt need a root canal then refused to treat me without one. I now am going to a new dentist who is going to treat my tooth without the root canal and also told me that there is only one cavity in my mouth, however they have to re-do one of the ones that midwest did because they were not done correctly. All-in-all midwest did work that did not need to be done, did work improperly, and made me really dread getting dental work done.

This place is trash. Dr. Lang is one of the worst dentist's I have visited. I was told if I paid my bill I would be seen and they took my money and denied to see me. Threaten me all the time to send bills to collections but don't send them to me. Stay far away from Midwest Dental.

I had dental work done and normally I'm always terrified. The dentist Dr. Charging and hygienist Lynn were awesome. They explained every step of the way, reassured me and made me feel calm. I didn't have a current dentist and was too afraid to go because past dentist visits at other places have always caused me pain and left me dreaming the next appointment. Recently I had tooth pain that I NEEDED to have taken care of. I went for an emergency appt at midwest, and was given options for how I wanted to proceed with a bad tooth. I went in for an extraction that I was SCARED TO DEATH of. But I never once felt any pain, no discomfort, and the staff as well as dentist were all super friendly and professional. Will definitely continue using midwest in the future and for my family!

I had an on call visit today, and wow was i impressed, DR, Wood and his assistant Maddie was super, even being the 4th of July they were very upbeat, friendly, 2 very amazing people I got to meet today and did an amazing job pulling my tooth. Great staff! Learned some cool things about my teeth and had a thorough exam. Had to go back for a small filling and, believe it or not, I even had fun. Everyone was pleasant and we even shared a couple muffled laughs!

We've been to other dentists including pediatric dentists and Dr. Jenna Lang was by far the most welcoming and friendly to my child. My 6 year old asked if she can be her forever dentist! We are driving well over an hour to see her. What brought us to Midwest is that a parent is allowed in the building with their child. Otherwise, I don't know if we would've ever convinced my child to get much needed dental work done.

Bobbie is the best hygienist I've ever had! Answers every question, explains things that she's doing and why, rememberers things we've discussed at my previous appointments, and gives me honest advice. She's also extremely friendly and makes me feel like she really cares about me. Dr. Lang is equally friendly and well qualified. She's goes out of her way to do things for me. I love going for my 6 month cleanings because I like to see them! The whole atmosphere is friendly and the front desk and billing people are always smiling and kind!

I like Mid West Dental. The only thing they did a procedure on me . I thought they checked with my insurance to see if they would pay for it . Even in there text I understood they had checked . Then I get a bill at the end that my Insuance wasn’t going to pay. I asked then if they checked with my insurance and they said they don’t check it was up to me . Well they should have told me so I could have understood. So I had to pay an $80.00. Bill which I didn’t have.

I enjoyed the current dentist (May 2020, sad to leave her), but working with billing and front staff is almost impossible. I went here for 6 years, and it never seemed to work smoothly. Appointments were changed all the time, I would end up having to wait for appointments after showing up on time, if an appointment was changed, it would take a month to re-schedule, etc. I feel I was more than patient with MD, but I felt like a number rather than an actual person. The turnover rate is very quick, too. I went through 3 different dentists and multiple hygienists during my time, too.

Having gotten my teeth cleaned and filling fixed the service is decent. Their billing and payment office is not. Having been making payments since receiving treatment and I'm about to make my last payment, they threaten me with collections. Any company that greedy is not worth your time despite the quality of service provided. I highly do not recommend.

Dr Lang denied me service after being a patient of Midwest for almost a decade. Why? Because I am seeing a specialist for TMJ that I have had for 18 years, and I am seeing a orthodontist for my braces that I have had put on to help with the TMJ. She states having all those services of care she is afraid I am not receiving the level of care I need. I have put $11,000 dollars into my mouth in the past 2 years and I am being denied care from my dentist? I can't even imagine recommending a single person to ANY of the MANY Midwest Dentals due to this experience. I need 2 yearly cleanings and any cavaties, etc done by a Dentist. Not a TMJ specialist or an orthodontist. I wish Midwest Dental the best as they have been great. But I cannot imagine Dr. Lang being a dentist you will want to further her career by turning away your patients. If you are here reading this and looking for a dentist in Wausau. Midwest is great, just shy away from choosing Dr. Lang.

I have been coming here for about two years and have been told twice that I needed my gums deep cleaned. They told me what the cost would be and what my insurance would cover. They were wrong and then sent me a bill for almost $600. I don't have that kind of money, not to mention the cost they charged me up front. I am paying my bill and finding a different dentist. My friend has the same issues with her gums, but was never told she needed deep cleaning, and her teeth "look " better. Be careful not to get suckered.

Unfortunately, I often feel like I enter a used car lot when I go there for a cleaning. Throughout the entire visit, they are trying to up sell multiple products. It's ok to do it the first time but then they should take note that I'm not interested not ask me again. Every time I visit, I feel like they are trying to sell me the same additional services over and over. They also will not verify what your insurance company covers. Other people I know who go to other offices tell me their dentist verifies with insurance companies before they have you sign on the dotted line to have a service done. I'm considering switching offices.

Dr. Charging and the staff are very engaged, friendly, and competent, but most of all they are perfectionists. I think when it comes to dental work that's the best way to be. I'm about halfway through a rather extensive treatment plan and have only positive experiences. Mostly I work with Dr. Charging, Debbie, Nicole, and Angle at the desk. But everyone else I deal with is the same way. The VA is paying for my treatment and I'm really glad Midwest Dental accepts their referrals. I need a lot of work and we are underway.

Was a terrible experience. Already being nervous about going to see a dentist their attitudes were less than appropriate. Iarrived 30 min early to fill out paperwork and the entire time one of there workings litterally hovered over me the entire time while I completely filled it out without even introducing herself. That was awkward.handed my insurance information over I was told it wasnt real. And I should have a separate card which I obviously didn't. After them telling me I needed to pay in full that day with no payment options till we straightened out their error with my insurance I was kindly escorted from the building with no exam or empathy of the situation. Very displeased and unsatisfied. I should of took the other bad reviews to heart before entering the business. Whole experience was a joke.

I had my hygiene appointment yesterday morning and my experience was great. Checked in right away and went to sit down in one of the two new elevated chairs they had added to the waiting room. (I previously had commented about the lack of taller chairs for us people with mobility issues and now there are two) They listen to the customer's needs. Didn't wait long and Lynn was out to get me within 5 minutes. Lynn did a great job and Dr. Charging came in at the end and did a thorough check of the teeth and mouth and viola I was done. Great job by all and yes the receptionist as well, very pleasant to talk to. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! Thank you for getting the chairs.

The "doc" doesn't care if your teeth looks good or not. She just wants to be in and out. Hate this place, after my invisilign never again! Should of just went with braces instead. I have to go in for so many "30 mins" appointments. And I have to wait so long for everything when they only give me 30 mins of their time and I get charge so much!! Yeah don't recommend this place at all. It was better when the previous doc was there.

Be very careful if you have insurance because you may just find some very large bills coming your way you did not expect . They have a high staff turn over rate and are owned by a profit driven company. They will send you to a collection agency very quickly if you dispute the bill and because they are a large for profit dental company will tell you things to get more work done than your budget may allow.

They will convince you to do the treatment by give you the low estimate price. After I done the treatment, they told me the the estimate just estimate. I need to pay 33% more of what they estimated. If I don't pay they will transfer my account to collections department.

Great dental hygienist, I've been Lynn's patient for several years and she does a great job with my teeth. Looks for issues and makes me aware of what I need to do. The dentists are all friendly that I've seen here and do a good job on those issues I've had. I miss doc Kahler, he was a great guy. Waiting room could use a taller sitting chair for those of us with issues getting up and out of chairs.

My experience here was awful. They told me that I needed to have over 10 cavities filled. I had about 5 done by them and they got to one and told me that I needed a root canal, referred me to an endodontist who told me I didnt need a root canal then refused to treat me without one. I now am going to a new dentist who is going to treat my tooth without the root canal and also told me that there is only one cavity in my mouth, however they have to re-do one of the ones that midwest did because they were not done correctly. All-in-all midwest did work that did not need to be done, did work improperly, and made me really dread getting dental work done.
