Midwest Dental Holding Collection Drive for Local Nursing Homes

To kick off the holiday season of giving, Midwest Dental in Kewanee will be hosting a collection drive for local nursing homes from now until December 7.The collection drive is for items needed for the following nursing homes in the area: Courtyard Village, Courtyard Estates, Kewanee Care, and Royal Oaks.
Midwest Dental located at 529 Tenney St. will be the drop off location for all donated items. The Midwest Dental team will deliver the items to the nursing homes in mid-December, just in time for the holidays and the New Year.
The community is invited to help by dropping off items from the list below at Midwest Dental. The items in the highest demand are: puzzles (100 piece to 500 piece), pens and notepads, adult coloring books and colored pencils, stretch bands and ball weights for exercising, greeting cards and stamps (Birthday, Get Well and Thinking of You), non-skid socks for both men and women, Kleenex or handkerchiefs for men, word search or puzzle books, candy (regular and sugar free), snacks pudding, jello, single serve cookies and crackers, hulless popcorn, lap blankets, holiday CD’s, travel size lotions and shower gel.
Donations may be dropped off during office hours, Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you have any questions regarding the collection please call the Midwest Dental office at (309) 853-3684.
