I had to change from my long-time dentist to Midwest. I was scheduled for an appointment within a couple weeks of my call. Their office is immaculate and everyone was very professional from my first step through the doors. I saw the hygienist Hannah for X-rays and cleaning. She was thorough and informative. Dr. Behnke discovered an anomaly with my X-rays beyond what their office could assess and treat. They set me up with a clinic with advanced capabilities for evaluation. I am grateful for the thoroughness of the exam and the professionalism of the dentist, hygienist and staff.

Hate to be the only negative but I had been scheduled for a 2 pm appointment and got their 15 minutes prior because It was my first time going there. Doors were locked. I tried calling not once, but twice to see if anyone would pick up the phones. Nobody answered. Finally got an answer on the third call but I had already left because I did not know what was going on, they had said we were on our lunch break, well perhaps put a sign on the door to notify people so they are not just standing at the front door wondering what they should do. I wouldn’t have had a problem if I had some sort of communication at least, so I’ll take my teeth elsewhere.

At my most recent appointment (a few days ago), I truly received the utmost in their dental concern, care & support. I went in for a routine prophy, when Leah, the hygienist found a loose restoration. Dr. Behnke said he would replace it right then while I was there, which was already very considerate, as that wasn’t in their schedule. The replacement required even more time than expected, as other issues were discovered, repaired, & then options for me had to explained. All was dealt with the care & concern I have mentioned, by everyone. Kudos to a great dental team!

My Husband went here for the first time, over charged for procedures he had done. No new patent discount or deal offered. They were respectful and friendly, but it's all about the money. They state they do extractions, yet referred my Husband to an Oral Surgeon because the tooth was cracked. And this was miles away in Appleton, WI. They did a deep cleaning on him and never explained the side affects and risks. Then to top it off, only did a fourth of the deep cleaning so he has to come back 2 to 3 times more. Just more money, that's the bottom line. Beware if you have no Dental Insuance, keep looking, there are several other Dental Clinics in this area that charge lesser prices for the same exact procedures.

However, I switched to this practice because of Dr. Van Dyken and was not told he is no longer there. I wish I would have known that. I think these dental franchises are a bad idea. it's not like fast food where you go because a McDonald's is the same everywhere. You go because you like this ONE dentist. I am older and have issues and need an experienced dentist. I'm sure the new dentist is capable but I really wanted a dentist with a lot of experience. I know they all need to learn somewhere but nobody told me my dentist is no longer there. So i give a frownie for that part.
