If you want to reschedule your appointments constantly then this is the place to go. I have been going here less than 1 year, and 90% of my family's appointments get canceled and have to be rescheduled. It is very frustrating since appointments are usually planned in between work/school schedules. Very disappointed

My root canal turned into a whole "new ballgame" when the crown covering the root of the tooth was removed to reveal massive decay. The Dentist explained it would be far better to remove the remainder of the tooth and have an implant as opposed to trying to do the root canal, put a crown back on what little was left of the tooth root only to have it likely break off in the very near future and then have to do an implant anyway. I'm certain this has saved me both time and money.

X-rays done quick. Ppl were nice but Was given a long lecture about why I should keep a tooth vs extraction. Ok. I get it, but dentist kept going on and on. Finally had to say I'd consider and left. Made an appointment. It is beginning of November. First they had was March. Set the appointment. Told them I did not want a referral to oral surgeon. They gave it anyway. Called next day to request removal from email and texts and confirmed appt so they didn't think I didn't want to be seen. I guess they just decided to cancel the appointment without talking to me. Instead they sent out a letter she said. I don't know if the receptionist was worried about me paying but I told her it was fine bc my insurance gives me a flex card that more than covered the cost. They were my only option so I guess I'm SOL

I always knew that were expensive but my latest cleaning they identified I would need 2 fillings replaced and my share $110. I got charged $153 then got a bill for $191. Seems they guessed???? At what my copay would be but Cigna considers a resin filling degraded and they only cover metal. With all the help turnover no wonder the poor service and that they are part of a corporate group. Never again but I must say Dr Chatterjee is outstanding, I would go to him again under different circumstances. Never again for Midwest. $344 patient cost to replace 2 fillings. To bad the company does not take care of the patient like the doctor does, well thats corporate care!

Overall they do a great job here. But this is the third time they have made me wait and excessive amount of time. A lady before me was extremely late. We were there before her. Instead of letting us go before her we waited till she arrived. This was already 25 min past our scheduled time. And they said it was going to be quite awhile before we could get in. By the time we waited for her it would have been an hour we had to wait. They apologized and said we could reschedule if we wanted but they should have made her reschedule being so late. It’s time to find a new dentist.

I've been going to Midwest Dental in Portage for over five years, and they do a good job. All the Hygienists I've had are not only efficient and thorough, they are also incredibly nice and make every visit a pleasant experience. The front desk staff are just as nice and send plenty of reminders for the appointments I set months in advance and typically forget. Dr. Chatterjee is as personable as the rest of the staff, and he always answers questions thoroughly and honestly. Most of all, I appreciate never being prescribed unnecessary dental work.

Dr. Chatterjee is great! I had a bunch of dental work to be done. He came up with a plan for all of my teeth, so I could see the cost up front. The work I needed included Extractions, root canals and caps, cavities and an implant. He was able to do it all, very successfully. He was also very kind, and he and his office were all so friendly and accommodating of my schedule. I recommend him highly!

Does a great job with my 5 year old son. I have enjoyed my experiences as well. This is the 3rd dentist I have seen at this office over the last 8 years and it amazes me how wonderful all 3 have been but Dr Chatterjee is my favorite. He listens to your concerns, offers a treatment plan, explains the science behind his recommendation, listens to your input, and ultimately lets you decide whether you want to initiate his plan, a modified plan, or wait and see.

We tried this office out for 2 years and have nothing but grief with scheduling, transferring a clear correct account, and my Invisalign treatment being closed without my consent. The front desk receptionist always seems overwhelmed and only occasionally returns phone calls. I'll be taking our business elsewhere to a non chain dentist office.

Had an appointment scheduled on 11/28/2017 for four months. Then got a call from them a month ago or so, saying they could move up my date to 10/30/2017 at 3. I agreed and rescheduled to the earlier date. I took off early from work and I Went in today 10/30/2017 and they said that my appointment was never switched in the system and they filled my time slot with another person. There was a note on the appointment date of 11/28/2017 saying that it would be switched. They offered to switch my appointment to a week earlier on 11/21/2017 but I declined in hopes of not having any more confusion. Not happy, for being my first time at any Midwest dental locations. If I go back, hopefully my next experience will be a bit better.

I had to rearrange my schedule a month ago to accommodate the only time they could get me in for fillings and a crown. So I know I had the time correct - arrived this morning at the time I put in my phone calendar a month ago...they said I was 25 min late and could not get me in, and did not bother to try and reschedule... the gal at front desk was not very helpful or nice with a snippy comment about "have a nice day". Not to mention in the past I have had to wait for 10 - 15 min to get in for my general appointments. The good thing I would say is the hygienist who cleaned my teeth was good, however I have sensitive teeth and the cold water rinse was almost unbearable. I was not feeling really confident in the dentist whom took over for Rosin. Wondering if I even need a crown or fillings? They always seemed to be trying to push something. I guess we'll find out when I take my family to another dentist.
