I recently had some extensive dental services at Midwest Dental, performed by Dr Chatteree. I've never been a fan of dentists, but, Dr Chatteree has changed that. After conferring with Dr Chatteree, we decided that since one of the root canals only had a 50/50 chance of success, we made the decision to extract the tooth. The professionalism of Dr Chatteree and his staff is beyond compare. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very rarely are you ever in a situation where the establishment is “packed”, and uncomfortable. Comfortable waiting area that also contains an area just for kids! Front desk staff are always friendly and more than willing to work with you to fulfill your specific needs. All the oral hygienist are kind and friendly! I cannot think of one negative thing to say about the place! Highly recommend!

My root canal turned into a whole "new ballgame" when the crown covering the root of the tooth was removed to reveal massive decay. The Dentist explained it would be far better to remove the remainder of the tooth and have an implant as opposed to trying to do the root canal, put a crown back on what little was left of the tooth root only to have it likely break off in the very near future and then have to do an implant anyway. I'm certain this has saved me both time and money.

I've been going to Midwest Dental in Portage for over five years, and they do a good job. All the Hygienists I've had are not only efficient and thorough, they are also incredibly nice and make every visit a pleasant experience. The front desk staff are just as nice and send plenty of reminders for the appointments I set months in advance and typically forget. Dr. Chatterjee is as personable as the rest of the staff, and he always answers questions thoroughly and honestly. Most of all, I appreciate never being prescribed unnecessary dental work.

The work I needed included Extractions, root canals and caps, cavities and an implant. He was able to do it all, very successfully. He was also very kind, and he and his office were all so friendly and accommodating of my schedule. I recommend him highly!

He listens to your concerns, offers a treatment plan, explains the science behind his recommendation, listens to your input, and ultimately lets you decide whether you want to initiate his plan, a modified plan, or wait and see.

I saw Dr Farshad as was also helped by Lisa. I can only give them both professionalism and my experience with them and the staff was excellent. I would recommend Mid West Dental in Portage to others!
This is hands down the best dentist's office I have ever been too. The staff are all welcoming and friendly, the staff are knowledgeable and kind, and they go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable. My brother recently chipped a tooth and his dental insurance had not kicked in yet, and they patched him up free of charge. They truly go above and beyond, and should be commended.
