I coach boys and girls high school tennis, as well as my son's football, basketball, and baseball teams. I also enjoy playing golf and tennis, officiating high school basketball and volleyball, and spending quality time with my family.
I believe it is a privilege to treat my patients. As a dentist, it is my job to educate my patients so that they are actively involved in their dental treatment.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Petersen and staff and could not be happier. Because of the extensive x-rays (which were no more difficult than any I have had previously) and thorough checking of my gums, Dr. Petersen was able to diagnose and present a solution to a problem I have had for over a year. My previous dentist worked on this issue three times and could not find an answer. All of the staff were friendly, courteous and willing to rise above average in their treatment of me. I recommend this office completely. I did read the previous bad review and, seriously, cannot imagine these same people as being rude and below par in their duties. Please give this office a try and I think you will be as pleased as I am.

We have been patients of Dr. Markham since he first opened his Atlantic office. We've never had a bad experience. The office is sparkly clean, easy to get to, and has plenty of parking. The staff is friendly and efficient. We have twice a year check-ups scheduled and rarely wait more than a few minutes beyond our appointment time. On the rare occasions when we've had minor dental emergencies we've been able to be seen by Dr. Markham right away--we know he has come in early or stayed late to be sure we were taken care of. Denise is a wonderful hygienist. Dr. M. is an awesome dentist and one of the most gentlemanly and genuinely friendly professionals you will ever meet.
