The whole team at Midwest Dental in Augusta is AMAZING. They completed routine procedures for me including: fillings, cleanings, etc., but the effort they put into identifying what else my insurance covered is unmatched elsewhere (I had no idea I could get x-rays done at no additional cost). This was my first experience at MWD. While at my first appointment, I inquired about some chips I had on my front two teeth, as well as some discoloration from a previous composite bonding experience. We set up a time to complete this process, and Dr. Cole made sure that she matched the color and size of my front teeth impeccably. I didn’t even mention the pricing for all of this was extremely affordable. In fact, as soon as I finished up at MWD, I called my friend to tell her about my wonderful experience. On another note, everyone there is incredibly personable, and Dr. Cole is hilarious. I can’t believe I found such a great dentist so close to home.

April, Dr Coles assistant was very pleasant and congenial. She answered all my questions. So did Dr Cole. If this visit was any indication of what to expect in the future I am in good hands.

I called Augusta Dental this morning at 8am due to a tooth that had cracked over the weekend. I have been attending Midwest Dental Augusta for my entire life. The staff is caring, comforting, and encouraging. I have had no problems with any cleaning or corrective action. I don't like the unkindness I have received from Louise. She has cancelled appointments without rescheduling when we have requested a reschedule. She has scheduled my family on separate days where we can only afford time to travel to the dentistry once every 6 months barring emergencies. And her tone is generally condesending. She is certainly the most uncomfortable aspect of the trip, and I have had fillings put in.
I have been a patient of Dr. Paul Mitsch for over 10 years. Intilliay, I had a huge phobia when going to the dentist. I mean I was petrified from previous bad experiences with other dentists. Dr. Mitsch and his assistant April are nothing short of a miracle. Both of them worked with me for a long time in an attempt to decrease the anxiety. Paul Mitsch and his staff go way above the call of duty. They want you to feel comfortable and they truly empathize with you regarding your hang-ups. To sum it up. Because of the time, patience and outstanding work that they’ve provided me I can now say that I’m over the phobia and I would never go anywhere else. Dr. Mitsch saved my life, gave me hopes for the future and a magnificent new smile that I can finally be proud of. The people that make up this dental office care about their patients. In my 70's years and multiple dentists, none are as caring as Dr. Mitsch. You can tell that dentistry is his passion. He is committed to excellence. He is the fastest and most knowledgeable dentist with exceptional work.

Honest and fair! Dr. Mitsch has years of experience that can't be taught. He luckily caught problems with my kids' tonsils. Jamie and Vonda are fantastic hygienists.

I want to state that for my age and health status, I made a fortunate decision to use Augusta Family Dentistry and Dr Mitsch for dental service. The result has been to keep my quality of life at its best. My last visit began with nervous anticipation. Dr. Mitsch chose a path that is the least discomfort and trauma. This office has been nothing but helpful and kind. They work with you, they are affordable if you don’t have insurance, they genuinely care and they give you the best advice. 10/10 would recommend them, ESPECIALLY if you have a fear of the dentist - they make it easy, comfortable and constantly make sure how you’re doing. I wouldn’t trust anyone else for my dental work.

Dr Paul Mitsch at Midwest Dental in Augusta is an artist when it comes to all things teeth!! After leaving my former dentist of 30 + - years, this discovery is a Godsend. My new crown fits with no adjustments and feels like a real tooth. Very different from my previous experiences. He is fair and tries to save the patient money in every way he can. The staff are personable, kind, professional, and educated. I recommend Midwest Dental and Dr Paul Mitsch to anyone and everyone.
Excellent service both from dentist and the staff. The front end staff is always so professional, kind, and amazingly get me in on emergencies almost the same day. The ladies who answer the phone and schedule appointments or get you help are just phenomenal.
