I have been going here for years and have always had a pleasant experience, but my most recent experience was outstanding. From the moment I was called back for my cleaning to the end of my appointment, Karson made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. She took her time making sure my teeth were cleaned completely, she even explained to me how to use threaders and made sure I throughly understood how to use them. I noticed she had a nice beautiful white smile and she told me all the products she uses to achieve that so I can achieve that for myself. This visit was completely exceptional for me and I am excited to return for my next visit with Karson!

I had a very pleasant experience at Midwest Dental in Beloit. I had to change dentist and called Midwest on a recommendation from a friend. I was pleased with everything, from the initial call to make an appointment to when I walked out the door after the appointment. Everyone was genuinely nice, displayed care and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. I was a new patient and had to go through that whole process but they made it quick and easy. I was seen within minutes of arrival and my hygienist was the best. She explained everything and showed true concern for my dental health. The doctor found time to fix a problem instead of making me come back another day. I was impressed with everything from the clean modern facility to every employee I encountered.

Tue April 18, I had a prior dentist before coming here that made me very scared to get work done on my front teeth. Today's visit my anxiety was very high but I am so impressed with the work done today the other dentist that I had prior to this one left a gap between my two front teeth today's encounter was amazing virtually pain-free he gives you the shot and he rubs around while the shots going in to make it so it doesn't really even hurt I just had four front teeth worked on and I am in awe on how it looks and how my mouth actually feels thank you to the staff at Midwest Dental on Riverside

I have met many of the staff and none are rude. If you need further care after your cleanings they tell you your costs and its your choice to schedule the appointment knowing everything up front.

I did however have an uncomfortable experience today with one of the dental hygienist who made me feel like bringing my child was an inconvenience. I was 7 minutes late, due to sitter issues, and made sure to call and let them know that I had to bring my baby with me. I was told that it was not a problem and to come in for my cleaning. So I buckled in the little one in his stroller and brought him in. He barely made a peep during my appointment and babbled here and there, but was not disruptive at all. However. Before getting started I did have to set up his iPad to keep him occupied which may have taken a couple minutes. This hygienist was very attacking from the beginning. She explained my need to be punctual and with apologies I explained the situation and how my sitter called in last minute and she continue to express the need to be on time and how I would cause others appointments to be late. (There was not one person waiting when I arrived and when I finished, there was only one person checking in). I apologized and said that I had to do what I had to (which was to bring my son, and notify them of what was going on). If this was as much of a big deal as she made it out to be, I feel they would have let me know. While probing at my gums there was an area that was very uncomfortable and it hurt and bled. I expressed “Oww” and was then reprimanded on why I shouldn’t say that in front of my son and how I was teaching him that he would have a bad experience. It wasn’t so much her telling me that as it was her tone and assertiveness to a grown adult. We were probably 7-10years apart in age if that, and the way she talked to me, was like a mother talking down to a child. There was continuous little comments that were made during the beginning and at some point, I believe she could tell that I was very uncomfortable with her, and she began apologizing for the way the appointment started, and explaining that she thought we got off on the wrong foot, yet apology came with a “but…” It was truly all around uncomfortable. I’ve never felt so unease’d at an appointment. It was to the point where I was so relieved when the Dentist came in, and when he did, it seemed as though her demeanor changed. She became more cheerful like… and as he left, that unease settled in again. She once again apologized, yet the experience was already made. She finished her cleaning. And then I was done. I did however speak with the front staff asking that she no longer does my cleanings. I did not want to make it a big deal, but you should feel comfortable with who is working in your mouth, and not be talked down to. Im not sure if it was a bad day, as we all have them, but I do think one should think of what they say and how they say things. Everyone else that I’ve had interaction with here, have been extremely kind, respectful, and accommodating. Even the receptionist are welcoming.

I have had 3 root canals and crowns done and they all healed and look great and I even fell asleep during one of them the man is good !! The cool part about Dr. Yamen and his team is that they dont judge you if you have'nt exactly taken the best care of your teeth in the past, he just wants to help you keep what you have . My daughter went in today for her wisdom teeth to be removed they sedated and pulled all 4 and we were out of there in 1 hour, it actually took the pharmacy longer to fill the scripts than the procedure did !!! Dr. Yamen and his team are AWESOME go see them you won't regret it .
I have only been to the office once for the initial xrays, cleaning, etc. My hygenist, Rebecca, took great care of me. The office staff is friendly and appear very competent. I am looking forward a great relationship.
I have been going to Midwest Dental about three years. They have always taken me in shortly after I arrive, and I have been impressed with how well they handle insurance. I always know ahead of time how much I will end up paying. I am old enough to have experienced a number of dentists, and Midwest is gentler than most. They also did an extraction right on site, and they have never tried to coerce me into treatments I can't afford. For years I went to a larger facility in another city which seriously lacked in most of these areas, so I appreciate Midwest.
