I cannot say enough nice things about my hygienist Sara...she is awesome. If she were a sports professional, folks would say she has good hands. Plus she has excellent people skills.

I absolutely hate going to the dentist... and I have since I was a teenager. I experienced my fair share of dental trauma, which mostly came from the fact that I am terrible at asking the "right" questions, and that I often felt like I didn't have a voice in my own dental care. (A lot of these are me problems, I know... and I'm working on them.) I typically delay and postpone dental care because of anxiety about having to go to the dentist... and yet, I have only had good experiences through Dr. Carter's office. Dr. Carter (and her staff) have always been very kind and helpful, and this is coming from a place where they probably had no idea how anxious I was to even be there. She explained things very well to me, and would double and triple check to make sure I was happy with the work she did. (I'm usually the weirdo who says "yeah it's fine," even if I hate it, just so I can get the heck out of there.) I recently had to have some work done on my front teeth, and she did such a good job matching color, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was sitting right before I left. I couldn't believe how good my teeth looked, and I kicked myself (figuratively) for waiting so long to have this work done. I cried in my car for 5 minutes because it was like some reversal of this dental trauma that I've carried around for years... Okay. I'm sure I have problems, but I'm really happy with the work she did, and wanted to say thank you to Dr. Carter and her staff - they did a great job for me. :) Hip Hip... Hooray! Will I keep my 6 month routine cleanings? God, I hope so...

I was first scheduled for two weeks away but they called me once a nearby spot opens up, so that I don’t have to carry over any dental issue into the holidays! That was so considerate. The hygienist and the doctor are both very professional. Did a great job in the exam and cleaning. Check-in/check-out process are simple as well. Front desk is so kind.

Mary especially helped me understand the forms and insurance issues the previous dentist office had been unwilling/unable to explain to me. I recently moved to the area and found this North Oaks location. I have had three appointments in the last 2 months for routine services, but all three were very good experiences. Dr. Carter is pleasant, patient, skilled, and generally seems like a good person. During my last appointment, it appeared they/she were training a fairly new hygienist and I was extremely impressed with the interactions during my procedure. Give them a try...I don’t think you will be disappointed!

I called Midwest Dental in North Oaks because my husband broke a tooth and we weren’t sure how serious it was. We had never been there yet they got us in the very next day. I talked to Bev, the receptionist about getting him in for the appointment and she couldn’t be any nicer. He was seen by Dr. Carter and her associate and they determined that the tooth was very healthy and would benefit from a crown. The next day I talked to Dr. Carter’s Assistant and discussed the fact that we could not afford a crown at this time. She took the time to explain to me their discount plan and what it would cost to join it. I asked quite a few questions about the plan and she was very patient explaining everything to me. We will definitely be going to Midwest dental for our future dental needs

My mouth is made up primarily of "After Market Parts," and as a result I fashion myself a reasonably reliable judge of dental skill and competence. Dr. Christina Carter gets my vote for Best in Class (or best in any class for that matter)! It takes a great deal of effort to earn my trust, and Dr. Carter has earned it many times over, during the years I have been under her care. She is professionally-competent, patient-centered, and willing to take the time to explain potential solutions to my many mouth maladies. I have been treated by dentists who over-diagnose and in my opinion, over-treat. I never worry about this with Dr. Carter or her staff. Sandy and Dr. Carter work extremely well together, and I wonder if they read each other's minds, as they work on me. On more than one occasion I was so relaxed I fell asleep in the chair, with mouth wide open. Chris maintains my gums and teeth so well, that I am requiring much less restorative/ repair work. Bev is always available to patiently and kindly answer my never-ending questions regarding cost estimates, insurance and payment options. My very first visit to this practice was very positive. I think that there is good work that goes on at this clinic. Bev, the receptionist, could not have been more thorough and even called my insurance while I was in the office to confirm that the full mouth x-rays would be covered by them. Very reassuring. Julie, my hygienist, was so informative and very thorough. So professional. Christina, provided the trifecta, when her hands and manner showed me how competent and caring she is. I would recommend this clinic to my best friend.

The care I get from Dr. Carter and all of her staff are great. They treat me very well, and additionally have gotten me in very quickly both times I had urgent dental problems. Dental care is not cheap; if you don't have insurance, it is worth it to buy their Smile Plan. I do recommend this dental practice. I feel that I've gotten good dental care.

Receptionist Bev, is so friendly and helpful with everything from appointment scheduling, billing and getting to know each member of our family! The dental hygienists are wonderful, thorough and gentle. Dr. Carter is the kind of dentist you always wanted:) Kind, gentle, personable and prescribes the treatments you need and not the "extra" ones you don't. Dr. Carter also supports her clients beyond their dental needs as she recently sponsored our son's Centennial High School Hockey team for 2018-2019!
