Interests
In my spare time, I love spending time with my two cats and family. I'm an avid quilter and enjoy being outdoors, whether I'm hiking, skiing, or traveling. During the summer, I enjoy boating on the river and pulling my nephews on a tube.
Personal Statement
Dentistry is a second career for me. I also have a Master's Degree in Public Health and have worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Minnesota Department of Health. I'm excited to be back in my home state of Wisconsin and working at Midwest Dental in Winona. I truly enjoyed my time in the Army and loved taking care of our soldiers, but I wanted to be closer to my family.

Dr. Baeder and her team are incredible. I have an extensive amount of dental work needed to be done, which started prior to Dr. Baeder joining this office. In my first appointment with Dr. Baeder, we extensively reviewed and updated my treatment plan. The thoroughness in care she provides is unmatched. She is also not afraid to pivot the treatment plan when unexpected concerns arise. She also very much listens and takes in consideration what the patient wants. For example, I had a small tiny cavity that could be seen when I smiled. I let her know that even though small, I was self conscious about it. At that time, I definitely had more pressing concerns, however she took into consideration my concern and added that cavity to the plan same day. The dental hygienist that also work in this office are very knowledgeable and patient. All of my questions are answered before I leave an appointment and they provide “what to look for” symptoms and potential problems and educate you on either what to do or when to call. The office staff are also very wonderful and knowledgeable with insurance type questions. Overall 10/10 and I’ll be switching my husband and kids to this dental office.

The customer service was top notch from the moment I called at 8am in the morning to try and get an appointment.
The dentist and dental assistant were professional, caring, friendly, and made me feel like and had been a customer for the past 20 years "need more of them".
All businesses need to understand what I'm trying to convey here, and that is the age old adage "you never get a second chance to make a first impression" .
Now with that said Midwest Dental has a new customer for life!!

The reason I am submitting this review NOW, though, is because today I received a letter from them about a credit on my account. I moved to Texas in 2017 and since moving to Texas have moved from East Texas to the Rio Grande Valley. This business TRACKED ME DOWN to make sure I got the credit that I have coming to me. THOSE are the kind of folks I want to do business with. They are deserving of encouragement and thanks. The refund isn't going to make me a rich man, mind you, but the fact that they wanted to make sure their customer - albeit a short-term customer - got above-board service is admirable.
I am very happy with how I was treated as a new patient. Went in with a sore tooth. The doctor explained my options and scheduled a follow up visit. After I got home from my first visit, the front desk secretary called and left a voicemail to check on me.
My tooth extraction was a success and have further dental work to complete.

Dental to be professional, courteous, thoughtful and patient, concerned about my
possibility of suffering pain in any procedure. Over all, I give them an outstanding
rating in all categories. As proof, I even talked my wife in going to them as well. She does not like to go to the dentist; she does now.

On my first visit there a few weeks ago, I used their new patient promotion because we do not have dental insurance- $89 for exam, cleaning and xrays. Besides the regular X-rays , they took a panorama X-ray, all covered by this fee. This alone saved us big bucks.
