Dr. J was very gentle and wanted beyond all else to make the visit and my tooth extraction as much of a positive and painfree experience as possible. The old clinic that was here was horrifying and the complete opposite of the clinic there now! I am deathly afraid of dentists, but Midwest kept me informed and very comfortable. I intend on going back and having more work done asap. Also the prices were way cheaper than quoted due to a check payment with a 5% discount for chks. And cash payments. Finally a dentist that i can trust!!! Been there twice now, preparing for more extractions... Still very happy and won't need to be so stressed this next time I go in now that I know what to expect... They Have now also implemented a great discount plan on top of the already low prices, great news for old schoolers like me who had bad experiences and were met with high prices that caused people like me to wait yrs to get back to see one again..

I went in for a routine cleaning and x-rays as a new patient at Midwest Dental Big Lake. It was my worst dental experience I've ever had. I showed up on time but had to wait 40 minutes for the hygienist and then proceeded to spend another hour and a half in my appointment. The "cleaning" was anything but productive; I basically paid for her to just floss my teeth. I also need to mention her extremely poor bedside manor! Dr. J came in for the exam and told me that I have 11 cavities that need to get filled right away because "they would hate for me to lose all my teeth". My last dental visit at my regular dentist, I had 1 cavity that they were monitoring so it didn't seem right that all of a sudden I had 11, so I went back to my regular dentist for a second opinion and they said I have only 1 that should get filled. My regular dentist is Midwest Dental in Eau Claire, WI and I am appalled at how poor my experience was at the Big Lake location. Their staff was far less friendly and professional and their facilities seemed to lack in updates and patient privacy. I would NOT recommend going here unless you like to get ripped off.

I thought it would be a couple weeks for anyone to just take a look at what happened with the filling and another appointment to fix it, but the good Dr. fit me in on a Saturday which was amazing, and they took care of a cavity I had forming on a different tooth. Will be coming back to check my other fillings and I would recommend this provider over Princeton Dental.

My experience was great. I called to get an appointment they were able to schedule me for the next day. I do not care for dentists but went in, the front desk person was very friendly and nice I only waited for maybe 2 minutes before I was called back. The hygienist was also very friendly making me feel more comfortable. Then was seen by Dr. J who was great, he made me laugh and that set my mind at ease. Had a appointment set up for 6 months after my daughter last appointment there and they call to confirm her appointment the day before and then call me back at 4:55 pm the day before to tell me they no longer take her insurance!!! So many things went wrong, I don't know where to start. My questions weren't answered. The fillings I was supposed to have done were random and they didn't even get the right teeth! The filling compound used to fill was left all over my teeth. My complaints were never addressed. There were several other problems too so I filed a complaint with MN Dental Association. My complaint was "rejected" so WeCare Dental didn't have to fix all the mistakes they made. I just started going to a new dentist and he corrected all the problems. This office is more like a production line with TONS of dentists who work all hours. 90% of their dentists are Vietnamese with very poor English. Maybe they work cheap? I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I was a bit nervous as this was my 1st crown, but all of the staff - from reception to hygenist and especially Dr. Vu - really made me feel confortable with the process. I honestly felt like Dr. Vu took his time and really cared about making sure the crown was an exact fit (and was concerned with my comfort at all times during the procedure) I was suprised and very happy to find that in as little as less then 2 days most pain and sensitivity was nonexistent. HORRIBLE! I went there once to just get fillings done. And the dentist did the worst job I have ever seen in my life! He didn't even fill the cavities. All he did was put fillings in random spots on the left side of my mouth. They were suppose to do work on the right side as well, but they never did it. They just kept telling me to set up another appointment to come back. I do work and go to college and have a child to care for. I cannot keep coming back over and over again. I had this work done on the left side almost 2 months ago, and I'm still not able to chew on that side of my mouth. Every time I bite down, it hurts SO BAD! So now I have to go to a different dentist and have them fix the left side of my mouth. Which whatever the price is on that bill, WeCare WILL BE paying for it.

HORRIBLE! I went there once to just get fillings done. And the dentist did the worst job I have ever seen in my life! He didn't even fill the cavities. All he did was put fillings in random spots on the left side of my mouth. They were suppose to do work on the right side as well, but they never did it. They just kept telling me to set up another appointment to come back. I do work and go to college and have a child to care for. I cannot keep coming back over and over again.
