Since I was a child born with weaker enamel, the dentist has always been very difficult and gave me anxiety. From my experiences with Midwest Dental in Hastings MN I can honestly say those worries have gone away. From the initial interaction to the procedures themselves there's nothing but care and quality and I finally felt comfortable and safe and can even say I enjoyed myself a little bit at the dentist office. Not only did they improve my teeth health, but also improved the idea of going there in the first place. 100/10.

No one really likes to go to the dentist, but the staff (front desk, manager, hygienists, and dental assistants) and Dr. Gunderson are efficient, caring, and professional, they are the best. Dentists used to scare me because of the horrible office I went to as an adolescent. But through the year's I've come across some really good offices and after my last dentist made the decision to retire, I was searching for a new home. The staff at Midwest Dental - Hastings reminds me of the old office environment that I recently left. They make you feel like you're the only patient and ensure that you're comfortable at all times. I'm the type of person that puts something or someone on a pedestal and then everything and everyone else has to try and reach that top spot and they have done just that in the very short time I've been a patient. I look forward to a future relationship with Dr. Gunderson and her team and getting the rest of my family transferred over as well.

Midwest was able to get me in quickly, about a day after I called. Dr. Gunderson was quick in her work, moving with expertise, but also with gentleness. Dr. Gunderson and her assistant both exude calming personalities, something that is incredibly important when sitting in the dentist chair! Overall, I have had lovely experiences over the past several years, but Dr. Gunderson has been particularly important in solidifying my decision to stick with Midwest Dental. Was told I had an abscess and I needed a root canal that would cost me over $1000 out of pocket, I disagreed and got a second opinion and it turns out that I didn't have an abscess! 5 years later, I kept my tooth and everything is fine. There's an old saying about making a good 1st impression.The staff at Hastings Midwest Dental and Dr. Gunderson most certainly accomplished that,with flying colors.Very professional,very thorough and very nice folks.I have a tooth that needs a crown and have three upcoming appointments to accomplish that so,I'll leave my review at that and update as the work progresses. Had my teeth cleaned by Kathy on Tuesday,1/21 and had a tooth prepped for a crown on 1/23,by Dr. Gunderson. I'm 65 years old and have never liked going to the dentist but,so far,my experience at Midwest Dental has been the most pleasant dental experience of my life.Permanent crown will be put in on 2/6...stay tuned. Got my permanent crown yesterday and the procedure went very well.Feels good,color match is spot on and again was very impressed by the care and expertise of Dr. Gunderson and her staff.I would highly recommend Hastings Midwest Dental to anyone.

I had to switch dentist before everything was even 1/4 done due to insurance changing and turns out my teeth had very little issues at all. All the expensive work they'd been doing wasn't needed at all! I haven't had any issue since changing dentist. Save your money- go somewhere else!

I have had serious issues with dentistry for many years. I decided to give Dr. Milliren a chance. Dr. Milliren was more than willing to sit down with me and explain all the procedures and my options. When I arrived they were concerned and welcoming. They did an awesome job for me. For the first time in my life I had a good dental appointment. I have to go back for some additional visits, and I will not dread them as much as I used to hate dental appointments. I find dental insurance to be confusing and not always helpful to the customer. The staff at Midwest has been very patient and helpful. They have done their best to help me with my insurance. I know they are a business and have the expenses of one. But, I know they have been as helpful as they can. In short, I would recommend them as a good place to go. They are professional, caring and will do all they can to help you. The billing is never right, they fail to file correctly with your insurance and bill you more than appropriate for your out of pocket expense. Since I was a child born with weaker enamel, the dentist has always been very difficult and gave me anxiety. From my experiences with Midwest Dental in Hastings MN I can honestly say those worries have gone away. From the initial interaction to the procedures themselves there's nothing but care and quality and I finally felt comfortable and safe and can even say I enjoyed myself a little bit at the dentist office. Dentists used to scare me because of the horrible office I went to as an adolescent. But through the year's I've come across some really good offices and after my last dentist made the decision to retire, I was searching for a new home. The staff at Midwest Dental - Hastings reminds me of the old office environment that I recently left. They make you feel like you're the only patient and ensure that you're comfortable at all times. I'm the type of person that puts something or someone on a pedestal and then everything and everyone else has to try and reach that top spot and they have done just that in the very short time I've been a patient. I highly recommend Midwest Dental. Dr Gunderson is personable and caring. I received a call from her after a procedure I had that needed more attention and she scheduled me in immediately. I was thankful that the situation was resolved so quickly and the office call was not charged to me.

There's an old saying about making a good 1st impression.The staff at Hastings Midwest Dental and Dr. Gunderson most certainly accomplished that,with flying colors.Very professional,very thorough and very nice folks.I have a tooth that needs a crown and have three upcoming appointments to accomplish that so,I'll leave my review at that and update as the work progresses. Had my teeth cleaned by Kathy on Tuesday,1/21 and had a tooth prepped for a crown on 1/23,by Dr. Gunderson. I'm 65 years old and have never liked going to the dentist but,so far,my experience at Midwest Dental has been the most pleasant dental experience of my life.Permanent crown will be put in on 2/6...stay tuned. I had to switch dentist before everything was even 1/4 done due to insurance changing and turns out my teeth had very little issues at all. I have had serious issues with dentistry for many years. I decided to give Dr. Milliren a chance. Dr. Milliren was more than willing to sit down with me and explain all the procedures and my options. When I arrived they were concerned and welcoming. They did an awesome job for me. For the first time in my life I had a good dental appointment. I have to go back for some additional visits, and I will not dread them as much as I used to hate dental appointments. I find dental insurance to be confusing and not always helpful to the customer. The staff at Midwest has been very patient and helpful. They have done their best to help me with my insurance. I know they are a business and have the expenses of one. But, I know they have been as helpful as they can. In short, I would recommend them as a good place to go. They are professional, caring and will do all they can to help you.
