Being an adult i had put off going to the dentist and i HATE to admit, BUT I will…it had been 12 years!!! (In all the while I was brushing and flossing 2-4 times a day) After getting off my parents insurance I thought “I get to it” but never did. I had an hour and a half of bone, gum and root work in 3 areas of my mouth. Chelsea showed great compassion and patience as well as skill. She checked in multiple times during the procedure to ensure that I was kept at a pain free level. She provided me with a blanket for warmth and comfort and maintained a positive conversation throughout, providing me with a relaxed and not anxious first time experience. Made an appointment to get into Midwest Dental but can’t get in until February 2024. They said they would let me know when there’s an opening and they have this is the fourth time they’ve text me there’s an opening so I called back right away only to find that it’s filled already. I really wish they would of had a better way of letting people know they have cancellations so I don’t have to call every time just to have them Tell me it’s been filled ready. It’s very frustrating. I’m thinking maybe if they’re that busy and have that many people that go to them I should look for a different dentist that I can actually get into. This happened to me once before at a different dentist and by the time I got in they ended up pulling the truth because they couldn’t fix it!

Great teeth cleaning with Rebecca, very professional, thoughtful, and gentle compared to other hygienists I've gone to. She also took the time to educate me on the difference between the brushing technique I should use with a sonic care toothbrush vs a manual toothbrush, and she reviewed how I should use the floss threaders with my lingual bar. Very thorough and helpful, my oral hygiene will now be better in the future. The dentist is also very nice and professional. Rebeka was absolutely, and I do not say this lightly amazing. She was not only fast and efficient, while still remaining present with me. She was informative, but not pushy. She answered all of my questions and held conversation without sacrificing any part of her job. Getting to my actual dentist, please excuse my lack of knowledge. Every single time I make an appointment, they reschedule it the week before because the doctor or the hygienist will not be in. I then reschedule for months later because they have no availabilities. I wasn't scheduled for any extractions but he was willing to adjust his schedule and fit me in last minute, so he could extract the teeth that were causing me pain. Disappointed that business waited 9-12 months then sent threatening letters about this debt. I always payed and made sure I had no outstanding balances after services. I was happy with this company, dental service excellent. This is not, and should not have occured. The threatening letters seem generated after internal business audit. So this is disappointing. Guess I will look for a new provider, going to miss the service I received. Not going to miss the threats.

After the appt and treatment recommendations they called my insurance company and gave me all the facts on my coverage. It was reassuring to know the facts about everything and not feel pressured by the staff. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends!

When I first went there to get work done it was fine however soon after they practically call you a liar and then will recommend more and more expensive treatments that will cost more than most people can afford. As well there billing is only estimates and doesn't match up as you will pay upfront and then receive a bill at the end of the year due to there miscalculation. In summary don't go to this office ever as you will pay more before they are done. Even if they do good work it isn't worth it if they don't listen to anyother opinions from experts or will ignore you and just do what they like in the end. I will not ever step into another midwest dental office again due to this.
