My family and I have been patients of Dr. Gillingham for almost 20 years. Everyone at the office is knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. I recently had a dental emergency after hours. Dr. Gillingham promptly returned my call. I was seen right away the following morning. The dental assistant who cared for me the next day was extremely compassionate. I highly recommend Dr. Gillingham and his staff.

Negative stars if i could.. They are very pushy and im pretty sure the dude doesn't know what he is doing. My gums are receding and he told me that I just have large teeth that outgrew my gums. No I just have decay. The thing that made me leave is I had an implant put in. No they don't do that at that office they sent me elsewhere. But the guy was looking at my teeth and said the back left needed to be fied soon or its going to need a root canel so I told this office and he said oh I can fill it. He filled it TWICE i called the 3rd time cause I couldn't sleep that night it hurt so bad. And they told me they couldn't do anything for me the decay is too large and that I needed a toot canel. they sent me to a place in Madison who only took the nerves out they did not even do the whole root canel! They expected me to go back to watertown and get it finished. That place is money hungry and will suck you dry of every penny you have.

I've been a customer at Midwest Dental for several years and every time I have an appointment to get my teeth cleaned I get pressure from the staff to get X-Rays. I decline X-Rays because I don't feel they are medically necessary and they continue to pressure me to get them. During my last visit I was told that if I didn't give in and get X-Rays during my next scheduled visit that they would refuse to clean my teeth. I told the Dentist that it is my right to decline treatments I deem medically unnecessary and that I was going to find a different Dentist.
