Dr Bricker was amazing. I told her I'm autistic with sensory issues and I was really anxious. I told her that loud noises in particular are hard for me. She said I could put earbuds in if I needed. She ran all the instruments real quick so I could tell if I needed earbuds, I didn't. She told me what she was doing before she did it so I knew what was going on, what to expect, and so I wouldn't get startled by the noises. She was really understanding and offered to stop if I got overwhelmed. Amazing experience. No complaints. I will be a lot less anxious going to her.

He took great care to thoroughly explain the after care to me and make sure I understood what to do. He even showed me the problem teeth and explained why he had a harder time extracting them. I love that he takes so much care making sure I know why and what is happening. The assistants are also great and friendly. They made sure I was as comfortable as possible while taking xrays and firmly reminded me why home care is so important and gave me great recommendations on how to improve it. The desk staff are also great and very transparent about what insurance will cover. They also are great at scheduling future appointments and working with outside dental places for referrals. One of the best dentists I've had.

Absolutely excellent office in every way, and I've been to several dentists in my life. I have been going to Midwest Dental in Boone for going on three years now and drive from Ames for the privilege of their services. Dr. Phams is an extremely friendly and patient guy and I'm surprised every time he remembers something about me - I never expect dentists to remember people they see every six months. With procedures he is quick, efficient, and effective, and I like how he explains what he's doing in my mouth as he goes along. They seem better equipped with modern technology than many dentists I have been to in the past as far as little gadgets and gizmos for comfort and ease of operation. The employees at the front desk/office are always great and the hygienist I'm paired with every time is an absolute joy and by far my favorite I've ever had. What can I say? I look forward to going to the dentist now and don't mind driving a bit to get there.
