Dental health presentations were given to the children at the Red Balloon Early Learning Center in La Crosse by Drs. Joe and Audrey Uker and assistant Samantha King on July 18. They taught the kids about proper oral health, what happens at a check-up, and showed pictures of foods that are “good/bad” for our teeth. The kids got to participate in a larger-than-life flossing demonstration and Dr. Uker finished each presentation by reading a story about an alligator with his first loose tooth. It was a blast!
